Zlio is the world's most innovative start-up dedicated to social ecommerce. Zlio allows internet users to set up their own online shop and populate it with products from a growing database of several million items.

Zlio is a very easy of way to start selling stuff on the internet. It provides you with nice set of features:

really easy to set up, no maintenance, no customers to deal with

you can create multiple shops under one account

there are millions of products to choose from

you can assign your products to your own categories

there is number of layout templates for your shop plus you can modify your shop's design

Zlio has a nice wizard-type sign-up process. It took me just a few minutes to sign up, select a template, and 'open' my store. The control panel for adding products is slick and easy to use.

There are also some useful promotional tools, such as creating a video to show on "Zlio TV" and a widget to display on your blog. There's also an area called "boosting tools", which includes a wizard to help you copy your store into your blog.

Zlio has two business models: CPA & CPC.

The CPA model means that when someone buys a product through a shop, the shop owner makes money via a commission (they are paid through PayPal).

The CPC model means that every time someone clicks on certain products in your store, you get paid!

Zlio also displays Google Adsense on your shops, so each time someone clicks on one of your shop's ads, you get 60% of the revenues generated. It's a great way to make extra money with your ZlioShop.

What I like most on Zlio is its referral program. Simply refer your friends and earn percentage from their commissions, 2 levels deep:
+ 10% from level 1 referrals
+ 5% from level 2 referrals
This is an incredible source of residual income!

Just imagine following:
Refer just 10 people. If each of them refers another 10, that's 110 people in your downline. If each creates 5 shops, you can earn commissions from 550 online shops instantly!

Since almost every click in the ZlioShop means some revenue, you can start earning your commissions pretty quickly. From the beginning it will be some cents a day, later it can be few dollars. With $10 per day it's $300 per month, $3,600 per year. Not bad at all.

All in all, it's a nicely designed app and very well positioned in the market. It kind of reminds of Swickis, which are custom search engines. Having a niche custom online shop will be an attractive (and possibly profitable) proposition for a lot of people. It nicely plays into the need for specialized and focused online properties, which are increasingly the success stories on the Web. In other words, if I am a Woody Allen fan then what better way to shop for his products than on a dedicated Woody Allen shop? So I like what Zlio enables and I'll be watching to see how much uptake it gets.
