I first learned of Eckhart Tolle in May of 2005 when I read and listened to the "Power of Now". To be quite honest I had mixed emotions concerning the material. My father had recently passed away as well as my mother..so I was very emotional and sad at times. So, when Tolle would say, be happy in this moment..I wanted to jump through the CD and choke him..yet something in his words resonated as truth in me. I continued on listening and reading and I eventually found so much peace in his words.

When "A New Earth" came out...I was in a better space...and this book, to me..was absolutely incredible. It seemed to go deeper and actually penetrate the places the "Power of Now" had previously opened up.

I don't know if it was because I was in a more receptive space in my life or if it was the material itself.

I excitedly anticipate the impact this worldwide web class and re-reading the book will have in my life as well as the impact the Oprah-Tolle Web event will have on the mass consciousness.
