Hey Seth, I'm Oran, welcome to my lens!

We live in the most exciting times of human existence. Our world is changing at a pace unknown in the history of humanity. We gather great privileges. But with great privileges come great response-ability. I answer the call and gladly stand in this responsibility. It is my HeartSong and my purpose for being Here. I do it with fun and passion. I want to learn from you, Seth, how to do this better.

Welcome to my "Seth Godin Application" Lens.

What do you do now?

What I Be through doing.

I am an Imagineer. I bring Ideas and Imagination to life. Through many different mediums, I allow the extra-ordinary to become a reality. That is what I do. Because that is who I am.

This takes on many shapes.

I am a Social Entrepreneur:

I co-founded an international movement called the World Spirit Youth Council. The World Spirit Youth Council fosters, inspires and activates spirituality, in all its forms, faiths and ways - within youth. I believe that spirituality is something that connects us to everything else, and of course, to ourselves. Beyond dogma, rules or creeds.

We initiate international gatherings, training spaces and projects for youth. Up to now we have been creating international events. Some youth have become inspired to create local and regional hubs and gatherings. We are in the process of putting systems in place to assist this next stage and I am set to take the role of coordinating these hubs.

We have(or are in the process of) creating Hubs in Nepal, Thailand, Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Australia and South Africa with plans for many more.

Within a crisis-driven world, the ethics of today's leaders are challenged consistently by outside influences. I believe that leaders who adopt and employ spiritual ethics are compelled to understand rather than judge, build unity rather than separation and have the potential to create long-term meaningful peace.

I feel that in order to create an optimal future for the world, the perception and application of leadership requires an evolutionary shift in paradigms. A leadership based in a much deeper, individual and courageous way of being.

I am a Facilitator and Trainer

I run workshops and trainings in leadership, assertiveness skills, presentation skills and self-mastery. What really excites me is the Imagineering Methodology I am developing under my own company called The "Imagineering Academy".

The focus is on utilizing the imagination and our intuitions as a resource. Under this name I run workshops and courses called "Somersaults of Thought", "Imagineering The Future Now" and "Entrepreneurial Mindshift". I am in the process of developing a curiculum - for both the corporate and private space - for accessing innervation. It's called "Imagineering 101".

I am also the resident Imagineer at the Genius Lab. They're Geniuses...

I am a Writer

The Imaginictionary - A dictionary of the future now

Words are powerful things. They exist as doorways to concepts, to ideas and to new worlds. Most of today's words seem to be limping along, drenched in assumption, filled with connotation and imbued with preconceived ideas. They lead us to a map of the past and beg us to repeat it. Enter "Imaginictionary: A dictionary of the Future Now".

"The best way to predict the future is to invent it"
Alan Kay

If we are to change our futures, we need to change our modes of re-cognition. To create a future of Free thinking, excellence, possibility, imagination, newness, unity and, of course, innovation, we need to imbue our words with the very thing we desire.

This is why I started writing the Imaginictionary. I am in the "Research and Create" stage of this book, diving deeper into the etymological meaning of words, uncovering their treasures as well as molding new words/worlds into being.

A word or two from the Imaginictionary:

To-get-there (Together) - When we are totally focused on a task to-get-there in a team, we lose the need to be right, to validate our opinions and we surrender to a vision that is much bigger than us - To-get-there.

Be You T Filled (Beautiful) - When you dare to be yourself. When you dare to be wrong in the pursuit of what is Good, Beautiful and True, you are accessing Be You T. You are accessing the beauteous individual that you are.

Imagination Station

For a year and a half I have been working on writing a full feature animation film. It is a cross between The Matrix and Harry Potter. It started when a recording studio approached me with the idea of writing a children's album. The album turned into a DVD, the DVD turned into an idea for a TV series and as it progressed and evolved, it asked to be a movie.

The intent remained intact; to remind kids (and adults) how important their ability to imagine and believe in the extraordinary.

A lot of time was spent uncovering the story and I am now in the process of turning it into a script.

It goes something like this...

"Once upon a time, on the other side of this very moment, on a mountain floating in the middle of the universe lived the StoryWeavers. They would calmly sit and they'd knit. They would tell stories that have never been and never seen. And as they wove a tale or two, they wove the fabric of time and space that drooped and looped around their land. Everyday they would weave the fabric of the imagination. Many creatures lived on the fabric of the imagination. And, like all things do, there were rules to the land. In fact, one rule that was split into two. The law was this. There is always More - More of more or more of the same... "

I am a Singer and Songwriter

I have just been offered a publishing deal (Different to a recording deal) by Sony BMG South Africa. My intention is to create an online campaign for my music. I have written over 60 songs.

3 years ago, I wrote a duet in Zulu and English called "Sibambene - Together we Stand". It won the 2006 World Song Contest. My songs are about the truth that lies behind things. The beauty, the pain, and the wonder of life. I write my songs in order to share them and hopefully empower others through the sharing.

You can hear my music at my brand new Facebook group at this link and listen to the song that clinched the deal with Sony BMG. It's called "Beautiful Unknown".

A snippet from the lyrics of "Beautiful Unknown":

"I look at you, I look at us
We've been through this kinda stuff
We have the Scars of Giants

Though it thickened our skin
Not weakened Hearts, nor weakened wills,
We've learned to be defiant

So we keep on treading
into the beautiful unknown
I know it's kinda frightening
but my, how we have grown
standing on the edge
of unimagined thrones
I know it's good to be here
To be with you alone
In the beautiful Unknown..."

Why do you do it?

"There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why... I dream of things that never were, and ask Why Not?" - Robert Kennedy

I have always found myself looking at things differently. Looking into people rather than at them. Looking through the world and, instead of accepting what is, creating what is not!

One of my favorite conversations is one from a movie called The Edge with Anthony Hopkins - An amazing movie that is a metaphor to the human struggle.

Goes something like this:

Charles Morse: You know, I once read an interesting book which said that, uh, most people lost in the wilds, they, they die of shame.
Stephen: What?
Charles Morse: Yeah, see, they die of shame. "What did I do wrong? How could I have gotten myself into this?" And so they sit there and they... die. Because they didn't do the one thing that would save their lives.
Robert Green: And what is that, Charles?
Charles Morse: Thinking.

Thinking, envisioning, looking forward, it has many names. I call it Imagineering.

I have had many experiences in life that have shown me how crazy and wonder-filled this world is but I have never allowed anyone to rob me of my desire for goodness and innocence (Inner Sense).

My mission in life is to Dare to Sing the Song of My Heart as Loud and as Proud as I Possibly Can and to Assist Others in doing Exactly the Same.

To impact, to touch hearts, to awaken people to their own wisdom. I feel it is important to dare to shine and, through doing, allow others to shine too. These things bring me joy.

All of this gives me a reason to wake up in the morning and all that I do gives me a space to express who I am.

I LOVE building and creating things, coming up with new models of thought and new strategies to implement new visions. I like standing at the edge where most people stop dreaming!

What are you hoping to learn?

I live to learn.

I want to see how you have tipped ideas into markets. I want to truly understand what it means to take a product from conception to implementation. I want to understand and learn from your approach to yourself, to your work, to your success and your team.

I am very intrigued about the fact that you make time to make your own lunch and how you manage to wrap that into your day!

I want to brainstorm ideas with you and your team about my projects and initiatives - or your projects and initiatives and understand your workflow.

I want to throw ideas around on implementing an international structure for a movement such as the World Spirit Youth Council.

I want to observe how a .com is assembled systematically. I want to understand how you build brands, market your blogs, summon communities and publish your books.

Hey, if I leave after 6 months knowing some of how to implement the above into projects and initiatives, I walk away a happy man.

After you learn it, what are you going to do with it?

How do I implement thee? Let me count the ways.

I believe the future belongs to leaderless organizations where the DNA, values, spirit and models exist within every cell of the organism.

I am very keen to learn how to create the international systems by which the WSYC can grow to be such an entity. Spirituality is as unique as every person on earth and we want to take the challenge of creating a system that perpetuates itself in ways that we cannot begin to imagine. We want to create a self-aware organism made up of youth that follow their hearts! That is the power of a movement vs an organization.

One of the most exciting concepts of WSYC is the "Wisdom Well". The idea is to create both online and offline platforms where youth innovation is synthesized with Ancient Wisdom.

World Spirit Youth Council was formed through Children Of The Earth, a United Nations NGO and once our strategy is clear and we launch the initiative, we could leverage our international contacts into other NGO's and have global reach.

Besides that? I would like to develop my methodologies, ideas, books and other product offerings to empower people into their uniqueness.

And I wouldn't mind creating some products that generate either a passive or annuity income so I can confidently continue doing what I love.

Basically, the sky is the limit.

Tell me a true story about making a change in the world

One Magnificent Person at a Time

The world is changed one human being at a time. For me, the challenge I set myself is to walk my highest values of unity, love, understanding and empowerment. This is not always easy! I am most fulfilled when I assist others in being inspired enough to follow their HeartSongs. Below is a letter I received recently.

Dear Oran,

I have made it one of my missions in life to write a letter to all the people who have made an impact in my life and tell them what they have done, said and taught me to make me the kind of person I am today.

One of the things I want them to know is that, should I have the opportunity to have a 'last supper' with all the people who have made an impact in my life - they would be one of the persons I would select to join me. You are one of the people I would select.

I am so glad that because of the amazing person you are, I was able to learn and apply the objectives from the basic life-skills course called 'Straight Talk'. I have seen on so many occasions how the value of the skills being taught can be entirely missed purely because of the facilitator!

You exude a warmth that just reaches the very core of one's self and touches your soul the way only an Angel can. They say that blessings come in all disguises; you are one of those disguises.

Since attending your course, I have shared the value I got from your course with many people, rest assured, the circle is growing. Soon, you will be facilitating many of my friends from my department.

I believe that if you can touch but one person, then you have lived an effective life. According to this, Oran, you have lived an effective life because you have touched me. Thank you very much for giving of yourself the way you do. You have added so much value to my life.

Regards,
Jolene Govender

Have you overcome a Dip?

Earlier on in my life, I was the opposite of what I am today. Closed, introverted, depressed afraid to speak. I was frustrated and maybe even angry at myself as I knew how much I had to give! I often doubted whether I will ever be able to get past the feelings of futility and frustration I had about my "predicament".

At some point I had a realization.

If I did not give up on becoming the person I desire to be, I will - inevitably - win! It was a strange concept but it moved something within me that triggered change. Struggle was there but I knew it will sooner or later crumble.

And it worked like a charm.

Everyday I would dream of my future self and who I was becoming, I would feel his self-esteem, his dignity and his easiness of being in his own skin.

I focused on that for so long that it became second nature to feel this part of me.

One day I turned back and I realized that I did not recognize who I had become. The future image of me became so big that the past became dimmer and dimmer until it was just a memory of who I was.

When people ask me if I have always been this self-assured and happy and inquire if I am this "sure" of myself ALL the time, I laugh and tell them - Not in the least! But we are not defined by who we were, we are who we decide we are becoming!

What astonishing thing did you do before you did what you do now?

I am the youngest board member on the United Nations Children of The Earth NGO. Other members include the Senator of Vermont, Hinda Miller, Clarence Jones - the speechwriter of Martin Luther King and Nina Meyerhof who I work closely with and is a beloved mentor and friend.

I have traveled to over 20 countries either training, coordinating or facilitating work that is connected with leadership, youth, spirituality and peace education.

I have had the pleasure to meet and learn from people such as Uri Geller, Jane Goodall, Elie Wiezel, Ben Zander, JJ and Desiree Hurtak, Ervin Laszlo, Duane Elgin, Masami Saionji and so many other people who dare to be great.

I worked with Palestinian and Israeli youth with the Interfaith Encounter Association in a time when the situation between the two countries was on the wrong side of dire.

When I was 15, I created a snail-mail customizable monthly magazine for kids.

I have worked with HIV kids from Child-headed households, facilitating a program called "The Courage to Become Me" in 5 different rural locations across South Africa.

I have had the pleasure of speaking at the UN on youth and spirituality.

My Wish

Imagine That.

Imagine that kids learn at school to embrace their uncommon sense, to work consciously with intent, will, purpose and focus. Imagine if there was a class that taught children how to operate from their internal compass rather than be swayed by the opinion and judgments of another. A curriculum that also gives importance to subjects like dignity, forgiveness and self-worth.

I can imagine this. It could happen if the youth of today are taught differently and, when they grow up, they then teach this to the next generation!

My wish is to do my bit in making this a reality.

What else should I know?

You should know that I do really want this internship. I am willing to do what it takes to be one of the interns of your program. I am in a phase where I'm ready to take my life to the next level.

I am not looking for a get-skills-quick-scheme or anyone to worship on a pedestal but an environment of intense learning where I can become more and stretch myself and my abilities. I am not afraid of grunt work and I welcome teamwork. I am here and I am ready to take on the challenge.

PS. I have my visa in hand!

How to describe Oran? What a challenge, when he is such a believer and lives the life of wild possibility. How to box a man who spends his life teaching others how to jump out of theirs? How to describe a man whose passion is words and what they mean and convey? Perhaps one of the best ways to describe him is using one of his own words "Be You T Filled" - he is a man whose spirit is playing gleefully in the world and who knows that having fun and being the ultimate creator is the point of this physical journey called life.

Oran, even at such a young age, is unafraid to authentically be who he is. He is a discover, an explorer and a genius creator with an open-heart and a voice and presence that mesmerises.

He is an inspirer and an incredible supporter of people like me (A Fairy Godmother) who dare to take their own leaps of faith and genius in the world.

He is a being thoroughly enjoying the journey of being human.

And now I wave my wand and PING... he gets the intenship!

Oran is one of the "loose thinkers" He is not bound to convention or what might be considered to be the basic assumptions. This gives him the unique ability to find extra-ordinary angles and perspectives on problems and issues that abound.

He is an amazing asset to society and will no-doubt be one of the greats we all will brag we know or knew.

Oran is an exceptional human being - in spirit, in mind, in heart - with extraordinary creative and facilitative talent. As a leadership facilitator I meet many people who aspire to something more, and perhaps may indeed find a greater potential. But Oran is one of the few who truly understands the power of greatness - not for himself but for everyone around him. His vision is ginormous - and I have no doubt he will indeed make it a reality. He is generous in spirit, a dynamic go getter who is bold in his approach with business and his life. He knocks on every door possible seeking to collaborate, to give, to create, to make, to shine, to helps others to shine. He questions himself, he questions all of us. If anyone will put what he learns to good use - it will be this man. Oran you already are extra-ordinary.

Oran is passionate, intelligent and resilient, that we know. What he lacks can be learnt and I believe he has enough, if not more of the qualities needed to authentically take on these learnings and bring them back to our beloved country such that we can infuse the system.

We are all learners: what has been demonstrated by Oran here on this page is his commitment to learning and facilitating that passion in others. That is a cause I support 100%.

Oran is a natural born leader and needs right now to travel in the right circles to fast forward this ability into serving HUMANITY. He is the one person I depend on to carry forward the youth spiritual ethcis activation movement...The World SPIRIT Youth Council that has now met in Nepal, Thailand,Ghana, Canada, Japan and Switzerland is forming a grand network of weaving youth into universal positive peacebuilding activity around our world.

As MOTHER of Children of the Earth, I have known Oran from a young youth attending our programs to now a maturing adult who leads these programs with a free mind and an open HEART. Oran is ready and willing and able to build a structure that brings others to the table in housing the potential of a critical global mass that furthers unity, sustainability and action. Together youth can build the momentum to make a real difference.

It would be wonderful to have Oran be the recipient of this opportunity.

Oran is living proof that what you put in you get out & what you put out you get in.

Wherever in the world he goes, people from varied backgrounds are drawn to him and inspired by him. In the time I have known Oran, my eyes, mind, heart and imagination have been opened to the infinite possibilities for fantasy to become future and to the magical humour of life.

Oran is not restricted by the confines of a world that is too fearful to excel on the level of soul. His vision reaches further than "out of the box," for him there is no box. He reaches all the way into the realm of the imagination, the most powerful tool we have to access meaning - the gold we are after.

Oran is dedicated and committed to all the projects he takes on. I have sat with him until 3am on a project without feeling the weight of time passing by. He is bright, hard working, willing, a great leader and a loyal friend. Oran will bring magic to this opportunity!

The inspiration and desire of someone so young who has already touched, moved and inspired so many to achieve greater things for themselves - is truly remarkable.

I know Oran, everything he says - he manifests and everything he does is for the betterment of society - we need more people like Oran - we need to learn that the door to riches, wealth and prosperity in all of its forms - are thorough people like him.

I can always be assured Oran will have an infinitely different viewing point on almost every matter. He is a rare born mystic that has fortunately avoided a traditional headucation. Through his innerstanding of life he sees the world with different eyes. I see his participation and contribution to my life and any project we may be working on as a gift of immeasurable value. When I am with him, he inspires me to constantly challenge the status quo and evolve my thinking. He has proved to be a companion like no other, his ruthless love, kindness, loyalty and passion, keep our friendship and business partnership alive.

I have grown and changed emotionally, spiritually and intellectually in a myriad of ways since our paths crossed. We have worked on numerous projects together, World Spirit Youth Council, Imagineering, Envest and more, but the most fulfilling of all have been the courses and workshops we ran that changed and inspired its participants equal to that of ourselves.

Oran and I haven't even exchanged as much as a syllable, my connection to him is through Simon Tzu a fellow online native. I was initially sent to the site by Simon to apply but in reading Oran's application I decided not to for the reason that I wan't him to get the position. What I have read here is so amazing, and I think with Seth's hand in this mans future only great things can happen.

He and I seem to share a few passionates and hurdless - some of which he seems to have come already - so I feel comfortable with passing this over to give him just that one extra chance.

    Good luck Oran.

I a co-director and co-founder of the Genius Lab, a company for innovation, genius, science, arts, imagination, nature and the future. I am also an arts therapist. I first found out about Oran when i saw an email advertising his "Imagineering 101" about 3 years ago. I was immediately interested and attracted to the synergy of who he was. We became friends and a while after Claire and I started the Genius Lab, Oran phoned my and said "How can you start a Genius Lab without me?" - so i brought him to meet Claire and the three of us lay on the ground listening to Oran's music and talking about future wonders and inspirations. We invited him to run the Imagineering for the Genius Lab and everyone loves him. In my opinion, Oran is a Genius. He is a brave, talented and entrepreneurial being at heart. He has much to give to the world and the world is waiting to hear from him. His ideas belong to the future. You would be lucky to have Oran as one of your interns. He is destined for greatness.

I am a writer, published author, a coach and a consultant. I have met many people in my life. Oran is young enough to be my son! He has a special ability to listen on many different levels, to envision a different future. Oran inspires me. His desire to always strive for the highest is inspiring. He can see truth in people and his intuition astounds me. He has the ability to inspire and engage people of all ages and mobilize people towards living their visions. Knowing Oran has been a huge gift in my life. He has taught me more than many people my age. I was the first Ashoka (www.ashoka.org) representative in Africa in 1989, 20 years ago and part of that work was to screen, nominate and mentor social entrepreneurs who had the potential to have national impact. Oran has the potential to have global impact!! He would benefit greatly from an opportunity to integrate his many talents in a focussed way. He enriches everyone who he touches! He is, undoubtedly, a global treasure!!

On reflecting I realise that I have actually only met Oran 3 times - seems impossible!

The first meeting with Oran - it was the warm smile, easy confidence and sparkling eyes that convinced me to call him a month or two later to come and run workshops at our Science Centre during National Science Week.

I was very new in my job and a little uncertain as to what to expect, as a result I gave Oran a very very loose mandate - "um workshop ... kids aged um 12 - 18 ... "

On the day of the workshops: It was clear that Oran had prepared - it was also clear that Oran's audience was entirely different from his expectations - and here in lies his strength as a facilitator - within minutes he had read his audience - found a way to grab their attention - and had began a journey with the 60 learners. I left the venue confident that learning was happening and that young people were being inspired!

    Oran - good luck!

Oran creates as I organize and I organize as someone breathes. He allowed me to discover this side of him when we were in Thailand and we observed together that this wonderful network of youth that we were part of are having difficulties working together because they did not have the supporting structures. And so, a few of us set to form a working system for the network - called now World Spirit Youth Council.

After those nights of imagining how we could work together and knowing each other better he continued to support me in another bit of work that I am involved in - supporting the creation of infrastructure for peace through Ministries of Peace in governments. I am the International Secretary and he connected with the organizers in South Africa and began collaborating with them. They can certainly benefit his skills for changing the way we do politics and how our institutions work for peace.

It is an honor to have met him.

I am Oran's agent and manager.

I always joke and say "co-manager" because of the nature of our connection.

Most artists I have worked with sit back and expect the manager to make them an overnight success. Of course, this is seldom the case as the road to a successful career is made up of consistent steps towards the overall vision. From the first day I met Oran, working with him was delightfully natural. His vision, pro-activeness and ability to strategize his career always inspires me and has often taught me a thing or two.

He is an extremely talented musician and songwriter, exuding an energy that uplifts and motivates. He is a natural connector and leader with innate insight into the essence of the person he is talking to. I greatly admire his way with people. He draws to him powerful personalities and he always seems to be respected by inspired people. In short, I feel blessed to know Oran and work with him. We are a team and I am proud to call Oran, not just an artist I manage, but also a trusted and dear friend.

What I admire most about Oran is his courage to be great, his effortless joy and love for life and his ellegance in embodying the principles he stand for.

Oran inspired me the first time I met him. He sang for us, and it was not just good, it was brilliant. I love genius, and it's not often I have the chance to experience it like that - it was quite unexpected. He then spoke about the power of imagination in a way that seemed to switch on my own imagination, as if he has a key to unlocking a dormant power within each person. He very soon after became a part of Genius Lab and his Imagineering processes have inspired many. He is highly talented, charismatic, and has a mind that belongs to the future. I know how passionate he is about doing this internship, and I believe that the opportunity to focus his ideas and develop them in this way will not only be a gift to Oran, but a gift to the world.

Oran is one of the most dynamic up and coming young social entrepreneurs that I have had the pleasure to work with.

I have seen him in action for the few years that I've known him, and have been impressed to note his capacity and skill set grow exponentially, at pace with his expanding network of colleagues with whom he has diligently gained confidence and trust.

His humor, sensitivity, warm heart, sharp intelligence and consistency won my vote a long time age. His passion is contagious. I see him as a true visionary.

When I reflect on beings who embody the essence of creativity, consciousness, evolution, and leadership%u2026"Oran" appears in my thoughts. So how do I know this fine lad? We met in Thailand for a movement known as World Spirit Youth Council (WSYC). Oran was present for the founding of this movement and I came into the picture during 2008 in February at the Thailand WSYC gathering. Soon after meeting Oran, it became clear that this social entrepreneur, musician, writer, (and the list goes on) is a very talented, skilled individual. It also quickly become evident that Oran aims to openly learn and share with others around him. In the months to follow, we met again in Canada for a continuation of building the WSYC movement. I witnessed him speak many times at that gathering in Canada with confidence and strength. Oran is very capable of speaking to others about his passions in a way that captivates people and tugs at their heart strings.

During one of our many conversations together, Oran suggested that we do a "skill swap" where we exchange our ideas, our experiences and our passions in life. I saw this as an opportunity to learn more with Oran.. This fun encounter also allowed me to realize the deep meaning that Oran holds for connecting with others mutually. Presently, Oran and I now have the opportunity to work together through this WSYC movement with Children of the Earth (COE). Oran is the "go to" guy for technology with COE and he is envisioned to be the coordinator for the WSYC Hubs (Oran is already actively making strides for this work). Upon entering into this work with Oran, we communicated from the beginning about ways to work well together. It is has been a leaning experience working with Oran and I see our working relationship as a gift. I HIGHLY suggest that you consider the opportunity to work with Oran and learn how your skills, qualities, principles and experience can collectively compliment the work you can do together. Final words are: This program seems to be beyond fitting for Oran!

My name is Ziona Etzion also an eager applicant to Seth's internship. When I thought of whom I would like to be in this kind of learning environment with, the first person that came into my mind, was Oran. He is a perfect candidate.

The ideal person to be given this opportunity. His background is one that shows his ability to meet any task he chooses to take on. He is creative, an autodidact, talented in a wide spectrum of areas.

Oran is like a wizened being, older than his numerical years, empathetic, brave and worldly enough to be proud to show who his is. This translates into him being able to unconditionally meet another and instantly know who they are.

Ingenious in using language, to paint a picture, manipulate words to suit his purpose and work for him to expand his outreach explaining the meaning of the point that he wants to put across.

His has a lovely voice that sings self-composed songs that show the man.

    Oran & I share a house,

Well technically - actually I think we've slept under the same roof only once in the last 6 weeks as he's been off pursuing projects, growth and spiritual wisdom in Canada, The US, Guatemala, Israel and Greece.

"Dude I met the most amazing Kabbalists in Israel...check out this painting they did..."
"So this swiss guy in Guatemala was a student of the Greek healer Doskalos - and he was telling me of this time..."
"This senator in Vermont invited me to a party during Obama's election and..."

When Oran is back I get to hear the amazing stories he has gathered on his journeys and we sit on our little balcony amid the summer thunderstorms of Johannesburg and talk until the early hours of the morning.

Squidoo has a 1000 word limit for comments and I am running out of words to describe Oran - yet I've only just begun. He is like that :-) taking up all the room - being larger than life in every respect, supremely talented, a creative dynamo and deeply loving.
