Organic Deodorant-A Fresh Start!

Will an organic deodorant stand the heat when it comes to keeping you cool and fresh?

With recent speculation linking antiperspirants to Alzheimer's disease and possibly breast cancer, I was all too eager to make the switch to an organic deodorant.

Yet the experience of using an organic deodorant left me in a funk, literally!

After much trial and error, I've found what works, how it works and why it works. Here you will find information to guide you in making an educated decision in purchasing an organic deodorant, so that you experience sweet (smelling) success as you make the switch.

Organic Deodorant That Works Like an Anti-perspirant

Miessence Tahitian Breeze Certified Organic Deodorant Review

For years I dealt with sweaty armpits, to the point that simply laughing could make me sweat leaving my shirts drenched under my arms. After trying different organic deodorants and natural methods, nothing worked for me. I had resolved that I had to continue using traditional antiperspirants.

Well, the search is over! I found an organic deodorant that works at the level of an antiperspirant. It's Miessence's Tahitian Breeze Certified Organic Deodorant. It works for even the most active (or sweaty...LOL) person. Here's why I chose this deodorant:

1. All of Miessence's products are "certified organic" with the highest international food standards, making it one of the safest organic deodorants on the market. This gives me peace of mind with my armpits being so close to the breast area.

2. Tahitian Breeze comes In a convenient roll-on form, so there's no chalky residue.

3. The warm, aromatic blend of floral and citrus scents that keeps me smelling exquisite all day long! For most people, one application is all it takes to stay fresh throughout the day. A second application may be needed if you're like me and dealing with sweaty armpits. This wasn't a problem for me considering all the tactics I had to use before to stay fresh -stuffing my under arms with tissues, wearing pads, applying deodorant 3 to 4 times a day, etc.

4. Soothing aloe vera is a main ingredient so it doesn't irritate my skin.

5. The cost of $8.95 makes it reasonably priced in comparison to other organic deodorants.

This is a great choice and I highly recommend it!

Don't just take my word for it. Eco-model Summer Rayne Oakes and author of "Style, Naturally: The Savvy Shopping Guide to Sustainable Fashion and Beauty" says: "This is a great product that truly lasts for the whole day."

Ingredients: purified water (aqua), organic aloe vera (aloe barbadensis) leaf juice, sodium bicarbonate, non-gmo xanthan gum, honeysuckle (lonicera japonica) extract, organic bergamot (citrus bergamia) essential oil, lime (citrus aurantifolia) essential oil, organic ylang ylang (canaga odorata) essential oil, organic patchouli (pogostemon cablin) essential oil, organic geranium (pelargonium graveolens) essential oil.

Don't Sweat It!-Switch to Organic Deodorant

4 Tips To Help You Make the Switch

1. Revitalize your pores and glands to work properly again naturally by dry brushing your underarms daily. Use a natural skin brush or a dry washcloth.

2. Apply a hot washcloth to your armpits for a few minutes to help melt leftover antiperspirant residue and chemicals.

3. Avoid exposing the area to more chemicals by washing with organic soaps.

4. Be prepared for your body odor to get worse before it gets better as it flushes out dead skin cells and chemical buildup.

Certified Organic Deordorant vs. Organic Deodorant

What's the Difference?

A number of organic body care products claim to be organic. Since there's not an authority to police the use of the "organic label, many companies are using "greenwashing" in their marketing by slathering natural and organic labels on everything to mislead consumers. The only way you can guarantee the organic authenticity and integrity of every ingredient in the product is to purchase products that are clearly marked as '"certified organic"

Certified organic is an independent third party guarantee of an "organic" claim, and is regulated by government and independent certification bodies such as the USDA (United States Dept. of Agriculture) and ACO (Australian Certified Organic). Without this, the organic claim means nothing, as it cannot be verified.

I've been using a new organic deodorant for about a year now - Kiddie Fresh. It works amazing! It was originally formulated for children but adults are swarming the product now. Check out the feedback and the product at www.kiddiefresh.com

I have tried nearly all "natural" deodorants available. I have very sensitive skin and finally found a deodorant that doesn't irritate my skin and works better than anything I have ever tried. It comes from a company called face naturals, http:www.facenaturals.com and their deodorant page is http://www.facenaturals.com/body/organic-deodorants.html

It's the only kind of deodorant I'll use, my skin breaks out into a rash if I even think of using anything else. My natural deodorant is perfect for my sensitive skin and I feel so much safer knowing that I'm not putting aluminum or any other harsh chemical on myself.
