Oriental Tribal Art - Unique Rendition of Tattoo Designs

Several years ago, I left a blank canvas and a Sharpie marker on the couch next to each other. Being bored and having both in my hands at the same time, I decided to practice my tribal tattoo designs even though it was a strange medium to work with. I completed a dragon symbol and connected a few hidden symbols together with sharp lines and twisted shapes, not realizing that it would turn out to be a unique and intricate tribal piece.

Because the original design was on thickly corrugated canvas, it was impossible to scan the image as it was without the image distorting and losing definition. It took me a few years to get to it, but I painstakingly defined every edge of this tribal piece and made it available for purchase on posters, prints, tshirts, etc. I'm very proud of this one...it was a favorite of many of my friends and family members and I'm excited to finally offer it for sale.

The moral of the story is to always prepare yourself to do your best work when utilizing your talents. Should you happen to think that you are only practicing at that moment, you may end up burying your best work until you can figure out how to correct it or get it right that second time. Sometimes you only have one chance. :-)
