My Personal Story And How Did I Overcame Social Phobia Forever!
It probably begins at the day I was born. I was the youngest one from all children in family, and probably the ugliest at the all family! I never felt my family loved me, or even cared about me in some way. The real effects came only when my foot stepped for the first time in hell, I'm sorry, in school!I was probably the most shy at the school, and I discovered that it's not so good. I was a fat kid, with glasses and a stupid look on my face. Very fast I got used to all the picking on me I went through. Other kids, including girls, were just so mean to me and I never could understand why! They treated me like I was some sort of alien. I'll never forget the beating, the laughing, the SH*T they talked behind my back. One time Jake (another monster) decided to try how many times he has to hit my head with his books till I'll start to cry! I think it was around 7 times, but I can't remember! That's where my social phobia began! I was just afraid of others, I thought everyone wants to hurt me! In this stage I realized I am not like other kids and I don't deserve to be treated like a human!
In the middle school and high school the things didn't really changed, not for good anyway! Wish I knew how to overcome social phobia back then. I didn't have even one friend at all this time, I was always alone and nobody was there for me! My family never helped me, my older brothers were everything I never was - they were handsome, had a lot of friends and a lot of girls. I think they were embarrassed I am their brother! The picking on at school continued off course and that's how I graduated- no friends, no girlfriend, and no good memories!
I decided to stop this suffer once for all and overcome social phobia about 1 day after leaving the HS for good! I looked back at the last 12 years of my life and I said to myself "Never again, I'll let nobody humiliate and treat me like these peaces of sh*t did, I WILL change my life!"
From this moment on I looked a little in the internet and self diagnosed my social anxiety! I tried medications and as you can guess they never helped! I saw psychologist but he is also only wanted to get paid. I knew that I am the only one who can get my self out of this! I started to read some books and I just want to recommend Social Strategies to anyone who suffers from social phobia! This ebook really helped me to change my life and it's not to late for you!
Today I am at college, I have a girlfriend and a lot of friends! I am enjoying my life, never missing an opportunity to go out to a party and the best thing - nobody ever tries to pick on me, the only one who did learned his lesson in a painful way!

Make the decision right now - I know that sitting at home alone watch TV it's easier that doing something about your social phobia. But this way you will stay right where you are now! Say NO to weakness, NO to bullying, NO to teasing!
Start in little steps - I couldn't even hold an eye contact with another person at high school! What I did at the start is to go out for a walk and just ask people the hour, for directions and other questions. It was scary at first times but after a few days it was very natural for me! I felt no anxiety while doing it. So I moved on to some bigger things like opening conversations with people at the bus, or when I am walking out the dog. It will definitely help you to overcome social phobia!
Force yourself into social situations - you can find a job, join a group of people you share some interest with them, volunteer somewhere, engage in social activities!
Learn ring martial arts - I prefer Muay Thai! This type of sports is good for you because it raises your self confidence and self esteem, it does make you stronger so you can protect your self against anyone who wishes to abuse you physically or just disrespect you in front of anyone else!
Beat your worst fear - do on purpose everything you are afraid of! Afraid of going out? Tonight I want you to go drink a bear in a local bar! Any though about talking to unfamiliar people makes you shake? Go out and start 10 conversations with people who are shopping! Only by beating your fear you will be able to overcome your social phobia!
Fake self confidence - I did it for the first couple of weeks and then it just became natural for me! Developing self confidence is a big step to overcome social phobia! Act like you don't give a damn about others, like they aren't existing!
Change your attitude - negative attitude to others will only bring negative reactions on you! Be friendly, smile and you will see how fast the world changes and becomes better place in your eyes! Be positive!
Leave the past behind you - I know how you feel, I suffered as much as you did and maybe even more! I am not forgetting my past but I am not letting it to depress me and make my life miserable! You can be a new person tomorrow, you only have to choose to!
