What is shyness anyway?
If you asked a non shy person what shyness was, you may get answers such as someone who is quiet, or someone who prefers there own company, or maybe someone who is socially defunct.
However you and I both know there is a lot more to it than that.
Shyness can be crippling, always worrying what others are thinking of you, never being sure how you come across, and then afterwards analyzing every painstaking minute detail.
A shy person suffers from a constant maze of worry and fear. You force yourself to socialise, you may feel awkward dealing with other people in day to day situations and when you are in social situations you may constantly be evaluating yourself wishing you were somewhere else. Shyness is a lot more than being quiet, it can be a serious problem.
Being Succesfully Shy
Think you cant make it being shy? Take a look at how far these people went! They still consider themselves to be very shy
So what can I DO?
I know overcoming shyness is a lot easier said than done. Maybe you have tried before and have had no success. I can tell you that when i first decided to not let shyness stop me in pursuing my dreams and living the life i wanted, I certainly felt that nothing would work. I had been shy my whole life and simply couldnt imagine a life without social awkwardness and anxiety. That was untill i heard of CBT and hypnosis therapy.
CBT stands for cognitive behavioural therapy, and is designed to change your behaviour by changing your thoughts first. CBT is very powerful and has been used by thousands of people all over the world. It is also highly recommended by psychologists to help with many different problems people face.
I figured that if i WAS going to change, i needed to change my THOUGHTS.
You see being shy really comes down to essentialy two basic elements.
Your thought patterns and your social skills.
If you are aware enough and have the necessary tools to change how you think as well as supplementing yourself with increased social skills, then you can beat shyness and live a life of contentment, confidnece and happiness.

I always used to feel awkward and shy then I began to work on my confidence and now I am more confident and happy with my life, At first I thought it might be paranoia but then after consulting with a doctor I found out I was just shy so I worked on my shyness and became very confident and now I am happy as ever,
