Are you looking for a FREE networking event that delivers what it promises?
This lense is designed to inform you about our group and when and where it will meet and is also intended to give you a flavor of what some of the meetups are like. However, it is work in progress, so please bear with me as I figure out how to create this page.
Many of the networking groups locally only allow one person from each industry into their groups to keep the group small and manageable. Or they charge several hundred dollars a year to subscribe to their elite group and thus keeps the groups small and manageable.
The difference here is that I have never and will never charge money for a networking group. I encourage as many people from all industries to mingle in our groups. If there is ever too many people at an event, lets create another event to meet at another time to keep each one to a dull roar. I only ask that we each patron the business where we meet to give our thanks for making space for us and that we act like adults and treat each other with common courtesy and respect.
I often tell people that I am an "acquired flavor" of personality. I know how difficult it is to build referrals when there are so many other qualified people in my same industry that are more charming than myself. So I created a networking group that meets every other week (so far) at a locally owned business that encourages "free enterprise" networking. If you don't like me, then may I refer you to one of the other people in my industry that is more suited to your needs? And vise versa.

Have a book you'd like to recommend to the group?
Tell me a book either by email at brentatro at kw dot com or give me a suggestion at a meetup (Tweetup) and I'll add it here for the group to enjoy.

We're meeting on Monday Jan 18th at 6pm at Baja Jack's Burrito Shack in The Owasso Smith Farm Market Shopping Center. The BYOB (Build Your Own Burrito) is HIGHLY recommended! Add a little or add a lot, either way, it's about $6.50 for an awesome burrito.
