Standard definition tv watching isn't bad at all once you get use to the filtering/upconverting that the set does. I do wish their was at least one more HDMI and one more component input on the back to hold all my gaming systems and various other accessories I would like to hook up to this TV, but that's the only knock I have against this fantastic TV. ...."Outstanding picture. Blu ray is awesome. Dvd looks better. This replaced A Toshiba 57HX94 1080i CRT projection TV. I am well satified with this new plasma. Inky blacks, great color, and at $[...] how can you go wrong. THX setting seeems a little dark so I use my own custom setting. Speaker quality could be slightly better but with a surround receiver this is a very small issue. Overall I am very satified. I also own the 42 inch model and purchased a 46 inch for my father. Delivery was great. The delivery CO. for Amazon (Pilot) called to set the delvery time. They arrived on time, unboxed the set, assmbled and set it where I wanted it and tested it to make sure everything worked. Everything went great. Plus with the $[...] rebate on the BD-60 blu ray player (Making it $9.95) how could you say no? Why pay $500-$1000 more for LCD".....
