Super Yummy Peanut Butter Cake

Ingredients

• 1 box of Pillsbury "Butter Recipe" Cake Mix (this is a powder ingredient do not follow directions on the box!)
• 1/2 cup of Peanut Butter
• 1/2 cup Real Butter
• salted (soft if possible)
• 4 large eggs
• 2/3 cup water

Instructions

1. Start by creaming butter (best if room temp) for 30 secs to one minute (more if not soft to start with).
2. Add peanut butter and cream together till well blended with butter. (I use creamy peanut butter, but if experimenting with chunky, I would add 1/8-1/4 cup extra as the chunks will not cook into the batter ... they will remain as chunks ... but that might be cool ... never tried it)
3. Next add eggs one at a time.
4. Lastly add powdered mix and water in parts alternating mix and water until all is in there.

Place in two 8" or 9" pans and cook for 28 minutes (or as time is directed on back of box, if you use different brand Butter Cake Mix)
Toothpick should come out clean when done.

TIPS:
- The box of "Butter Cake" is an ingredient - do not follow directions on the box!
- The batter will appear much thicker than a regular cake batter - this is normal.
- I suggest using an electric mixer as this is a thick batter. I use a Kitchen Aide stand mixer.
- I use creamy peanut butter, but if experimenting with chunky, I would add 1/8-1/4 cup extra as the chunks will not cook into the batter ... they will remain as chunks ... but that might be cool ... I never tried it.
- Let cake cool completely before frosting (as with any cake).
