I was one of the lucky few invited to download, test and then review Brad Callen's PPC Web Spy and I have to say I am impressed. PPC Web Spy is a Mozilla Firefox add-on that allows you to spy on and get all the competitors Adword keywords that they use to drive traffic to their site. Doing this is extremely simple, you just search Google for any keyword or keyword phrase as you normally would, and if you have the PPC Web Spy installed, it provides you with the entire campaign strategy for that Adwords advertiser. The amazing part is that you get all this for the low cost of free. Get Competitors Adword Keywords
As I stated above PPC Web Spy is a free tool which you can use to get competitors adword keywords for absolutely any niche you can think of. You probably already have a niche in mind or else you wouldn't be doing keyword research at all.
For example, if you have a site focused on "Dog Food" you simply do a search for it on Google and if you have the PPC Web Spy addon installed each Adwords Ad will have a green "Keywords" button under it. Clicking this button will open a window with a list of keywords being bid on by that advertiser. You will also be able to see which keywords are actually generating the most traffic as well as the position, average cost per click (CPC) and the cost per day (CPD) to the Adwords advertiser, as well as the landing page the advertiser has chosen.
What does this mean for you? You will immediately have knowledge of the most profitable keywords for your own campaign by eliminating the useless keywords, saving you days, weeks or even months of trial and error.
