Know what the Ponzi effect is?
I have to recognize that I was wrong, and totally skipping one very important aspect in my analysis of PTC sites. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please read my previous lenses: Overview and Why they aren't a scam. It is highly recommended that you do, in order to understand what I'm talking about.
Oh, please don't get me wrong! I'm not going to tell you: "PTC sites are scams, so don't listen to what I said before this". Instead, I just want to add yet one more page to my rather complex theory.
Warning! Don't keep reading!
What you will find in this great lens is...
The Ponzi Effect Unveiled
But I must reckon I skipped the fact or, to put it in a better way, possibility that these sites would actually lose money.
How? Well, I basically pointed out 2 things, and let me go over them a bit;
Key items to remember
1st. These sites lose money by paying more per click than what they earn.
2nd. They make a profit with deserters. They get paid for the clicks they make, but never have to pay them due to the fact that they never reach payout.

The Ponzi effect works a bit like this
Ponzi schemes are known for taking in less money than they give out. As an example, they work as a pyramid, with those who acted first making money, and those who were last losing it.
Basically, if this happens, the site starts showing a "lag" in payments. What that means is, it will pay you, but as it isn't making a profit, it will take some time to do so. Specially if you requested a large payment.
Want an example?
If you do, you should check Bux.to.
Bux.to, the Ponzi Effect Personified!
A few days ago it was celebrating it's 1st year online, and it constantly posts "proof of payment", from people earning from 500 to 1000 bucks average. Who wouldn't want to be one of those guys?
I'll tell you who: me. "Why? Are you a madman?" No, I'm no madman. Simply put, with Bux.to, my win is somebody else's loss, due to the ponzi effect.
As people are constantly requesting more than what Bux.to actually earns, they can't pay out members immediately. So, what do they do? Well, if you ask me, I'd say they pay "big" members so that "small" members are motivated to keep clicking.
But they don't pay those "small" members, because they can't. Simple as that.
Would YOU want to earn 1000 bucks...
...knowing somebody else won't be paid?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byYes, I don't care for the rest. It's only me!

i say there is nothing wrong i mean you're doing nothing but clcking just like playing online games but the only difference is you get paid i mean they'll lose nothing except if they're premium members but then premium members are unlikrly to get ignored

I care about the others, but if they give up before they reach payout...that's not my fault. Give me my money.

"scam" = "the ponzi effect"?
Sites suffering this ponzi effect are often categorized as scams, but I want to make a difference between both.
-A scam site simply won't pay you, even if it has the money.
-Sites under the ponzi effect WANT to pay you, they simply can't.

- 99% of all PTC sites are in fact ponzi scams
100% of all bux sites are ponzi scams, even NEOBUX the one who you all so highly praise is a huge ponzi scam that will collapse eventually, and leave tens of thousands scammed out of tons of their money and earnings.
just look at the business model of the sites! they are doing nothing but selling investments!!! upgrades and referrals! barley any real ad sales go through at all, they are most self sponsored ads! so when all they are selling is the upgrades and referrals which make people earn faster and more of a percentage, that turns it into an illegal investment ponzi!!
everyone in PTC needs to stop promoting these bux sites, they were created by network scammers and you all are making them filthy rich! it is absolute insanity!!
they were created specificly AS PONZI MODELS!! IT IS NOT A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS MODEL!

- I'd also like to make another point about most 'bux' sites. Most of them make money not so much from deserters as they do from referral sales and upgrades. However, like you said, they actually LOSE money on ad sales! So effectively, whenever someone's clicking the ads, the site loses money... I try to ignore such sites and only join 'sustainable' PTC sites where the site actually makes PROFIT from the ad sales.
