The Panasonic DMP-BD50K is a high end model. If it is a holiday present, make sure it is for someone you truly love. For example, your wife or husband will love this. Get this as a gift your whole family can enjoy. I wouldn't buy this model for a teen. It's a great gift for a boyfriend, girlfriend, or fiancée if the relationship is serious, or if you spend a lot of time at their place watching movies. So, don't make this a disappointing Christmas, buy the Panasonic Blu-ray player before it is out of stock.
