There Are Many Types Of Flat Screen TV, What Is Differences Between Them All?

Well, at least all these kinds of flat screen tv's have something in common, they all deliver great pictures to our eyes ! but they have differences I will try to outline the most important of them down here:

-Plasma TV: This kind of televisions uses small gas bubbles in plasma state (from here the name came) these particles are covered with phosphorus or charged by exact amount of electrical charges to result in a specific degree of colors, nearly most of the flat screen tv over 30" are plasma tv's.

-LCD TV: LCD stands for (Liquid Crystal Display) which generally uses TFT ( Thin Film Transistor) by applying a small electric power through layers of liquid crystals separated by thin glass films and a light is focussed on each one of them, thus bringing out dazzling images, LCD-TFT technology developed at a large scale lately, the new generations of LCD tv's have advantages over older ones and some drawbacks were eleminated.

-Rear Projection TV: This kind of televisions uses one of the methods to generate the picture other than CRT method, this kind did not provide stunning clear images like plasma, but it is very competitive in price.

-CRT TV:? this is the traditional TV which stand for (Cathode Ray Tubes) Where a beam of electrons is bombarded to optical cells or pixels to generate the image, this kind have so many drawback in terms of resolution and is being replaced with the new technologies very rapidly.

-DLP Projection TV: This kind of televisions uses optical semiconductors to digitally generate light (DLP stands for Digital Lighting Processing), The quality of picture for this kind is owesome, you'll find it everywhere, as home theater business and entertainment places.

Markets Are Full of Tons Of LCD's, Plasmas, Rear Projections and DLP's, How Can We Make Sure We Made The Right Choice?

"Which is the right one for me?" or " what is the best offer ever?" are absolute questions which can not have the same question for everybody.

There are some points one must take into consideration when deciding to buy flat screen TV, some of them I will try to cover here:

-The Dimensions Of Your TV Room:
This factor is very crucial when you decide to buy fat screen television, the width, length and height of your room makes the decision for the size of your TV set, as a general rule length of the room must be at least four to six times the size of your screen while the width must be three to five times -as a minimum- of this size, it is preferable that height of the room to be two times or more the screen size , in order to have maximum veiwing experience, but you will decide at last which one you will spend your money on.

-The Amount Of Money You Will Spend:
This is also a decisive factor, you can spend money to buy gigantic plasma TV or you can set up for a reasonable one (32" is a good choice too) it's all about how important this TV is for you and how much are you willing to pay for it.

-The Quality Of Picture You Want:
The quality of flat screen TV's differ as we made clear in the last section, but you must define (for example) your resolution level, whether you want HDTV ( High Definition TV Broadcast) or not , you must know your needs before you go into a specific purchase .

-Some fictions about flat screen tv's:

-They have low lifespan:there are rumors about the short life of plasma flat screen televisions but they are untrue you can check out this lense for detailed information about this topic.

-There are ghosts and delay in change in the pictures:
May be this was true when flat screen tv's were in their infancy but now the new technology bring you amazing real pictures without interruption or delays.

-these television are very expensive:
On the contrary, with the wide spread of these panels, their prices became extremely low and you can Buy them Online
too, if you want to make shopping from the comfort of your own place, with out the interruption of persistent sale

happy-jack Not stars enough for this lens, very good work. My father had always said, that a fully electronic TV is not ready until we have a Flat Screen. The cathoad ray tube is on its way out.
