In this "section", I will list some common techniques that will help panic attacks; but I have modified them to make them more effective:
1) Deep Breathing Technique
Inhale slowly to the count of four, hold that to the count of four, exhale to the count of four and do nothing to the count of four.
Do that at least four times and it will ease your anxiety a lot.
2) Distraction Technique
If you sense some anxiety or experience any symptoms and know that an incoming panic attack is coming, immediately apply the distraction technique. Think what you are going to do later; play games in your handphone or PSP.

Visualization Technique, on the other hand, makes you FEEL you're in the visualized thought rather than in the reality thought.
Here's how you use the Visualization Technique:
Before a panic attack occurs or when you know a panic attack is coming; close your eyes and visualize you're in a peaceful place like a beach. As you're lying on a comfortable chair, you sip a glass of chilled champagne or coconut drink. On the sea, there are colorful boats riding on a slow pace. You feel the cooling breeze and listens to the gentle sea clashing towards the shore.
If you realize about it, the visualization technique uses your 5-senses to assist in visualizing a peaceful place.
This helps to ease and stop any panic attacks.
2) Ice-Water
Splashing Ice-water on your face helps to "reset" the process of panic attacks. You can apply this technique if you feel a panic attack is coming.

Imagine you're a robot and someone just turned off your power button. Relax all your muscles in your body immediately and clear all thoughts in your head! This technique works wonders!
