Pantheon Palace on CafePress
Ranked #16,790 in Fashion & Beauty, #303,138 overall | Donates to Squidoo Charity Fund, Earthjustice
I built this lens to promote one of the shops I maintain on CafePress. As such, it's really all about the sales. I'll try to avoid complete spamminess by using this lens to provide more background on how I made the designs, and what I was thinking at the time, than I'm able to do in the shop itself.
This shop carries designs with themes related to Pagan, Wiccan and other non-monotheistic religions. I'm not really opposed to monotheism, but those followers tend to do enough self-promotion as it is....
I'll be featuring a rotating selection of three to eight designs at any one time. I'll try to get in and shuffle them at least once a week, but I may take a little longer now and then.
With one or two exceptions, all my designs are produced using Inkscape, an open-source vector graphics program.
NEW! CafePress has finally added their most-requested product--Dark Sweatshirts. I've added them to most sections of this shop. They've also added a "carousel" on the product page, so I'll be updating the Shopping Tips soon.
Thanks for stopping by!

Shopping Tips
For each design, I'll provide direct links to one or two (occasionally three), items on which it's featured. However, all the featured designs are available on almost all of the CafePress apparel items, including men's and women's t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, as well as most of the gift items such as clocks, mugs and tote bags. If you like the design but want on a different product, you can get to the other offerings easily. Almost all the apparel items that allow it are offered with the design in a choice of "full front" or "pocket" placement.

Every product has a "trail of bread crumbs" navigation at the top (see 1 in the screen shot). Most items can also be found from the design's section name (2), which can also be used to find other designs that aren't currently featured on the lens.
Don't forget that you can frequently use a coupon to reduce your cost. I provide a feed of current coupon codes in the upper left (3).

Maze Moon
This is the Goddess' triple moon--waxing, full and waning--with a labyrinth superimposed on it. There's no text. Each moon is made from several circles, broken and rejoined to make the maze. The "maze" is a single track from the outside to the center.
When you're Pagan, you're aleady Born Again...
This is the first image I ever put up on CafePress. It's all text, laid out across the "page". The font is Cairo SF.On dark apparel the text is in yellow.
My Boss is a Norse Electrician
This design is for those whose primary dedication is to Thor, The Norse god of thunder. Mjolnir (the hammer), and the lightning bolts are mostly drawn with the pen tool, though I think I used a rounded rectangle for the hammer handle. The font is Yggdrasil, from PizzaDude. He sells fonts on his website, and has a collection of free fonts on 1001 Fonts
I've put a slightly altered version on bumper stickers--see the shopping links, below.
Yes, I Can Drive a Stick
Drawing the broomstick took me a while, getting the fake grain in the wood. It's served me well, though--I wound up copying it for use in other designs as an axe handle and as a spear shaft. It's a rounded rectangle, then one of the grain lines was drawn with the pencil tool. This line was copied and shifted, over and over, then the part that slopped out of the rectangle clipped. The straw is a yellow background shape with lines in other tones. The font is Flat Brush.
At Least the Gods Like My Offerings...
Burnt burgers on the barbie. This is another one that took a while to draw, and I don't remember all the tools I used to do it. I do remember that I drew a couple of coals (briquettes), colored & twisted them, then grouped them and made more copies of the group.
The font is LevelFourteenDruid, converted to a path so that I could curve it (I didn't then know how to put text objects along paths).
I don't (yet) offer this one on dark apparel.
My boss is a Greek vintner
Another in the "My boss..." series, this one for devotees of Dionysus. The grape leaves were hand-traced from a photo using the pen tool (well, one was, and then I copied it...). The grapes are gradient-filled ellipses.
The font is flat Brush.
There's a bumper sticker version of this one, too.
