The easy open, double throw latches combine with the durable polymer O-ring to create a watertight seal, protecting your valuable firearms from water and dust damage.Each weapons case also features an automatic pressure equalization valve for ease of opening after air travel, as well as strong polyurethane wheels and folding handles for easy transport. All of Pelican's gun cases also feature stainless steel padlock protectors to ensure the safe lock up of your firearms.

The Pelican 1700 Gun Case is the smallest of the Gun/Rifle case series. With an interior length of 35.75 inches, the 1700 Case can hold most shorter rifles, including their scope.
