Who Is This Girl?
I am a 21 year old, married female that likes to consider herself an writer. It is said that you are only a writer every day that you write, so I am trying to write at least a little something every single day. Sometimes it is working on my novel, occasionally it is for Associated Content, but most of the time it is for one of my blogs.
I used to go to college, but found like many others that it wasn't for me. It isn't that I'm not smart, because I am very intelligent. When I can learn more in one day on the internet than I can in an entire month of classes...what does that say? I believe in self education. Teach yourself something new every day.
I'm pretty much a nerd when it comes to vampires and werewolves. I love dark fantasy novels. I drink them up like a man dying of thirst in the desert...Err, woman if you insist. Basically what I am saying is it is impossible to drag me away from a good book. I'll hide in my room and won't come out until I have finished.
I'm painfully shy in person. My hands start to sweat and my heart pounds against my chest so loudly that I am sure the other person can hear it. I feel like I'm going to throw up. It is generally an unpleasant experience until I feel comfortable with someone. Then I am as loud and obnoxious as can be. I laugh a lot. I have a loud laugh.
I have strange phobias. I don't like my shoes to be laced to tightly because my feet get claustrophobic...That's my way of saying that I feel claustrophobic. I hate being in my bedroom with the door open. I'll almost always get up and close the door.
I don't like or eat potatoes except for chips and McDonald's french fries. Specifically McDonald's. I still sleep with three stuffed animals. My laptop is practically one of my appendages. I'm about 90% certain that I have an auditory processing disorder. My husband is a Marine, so I moved to North Carolina pretty recently. I have strangely thick eyebrows. I definitely bite my nails. I thought I had kicked the habit, but I was wrong.

Why Should You Care?
You don't have to care. No hurt feelings if you don't. I like to pretend that I am this super-interesting person, but the reality is there are a lot more interesting people out there than me.BUT I am interested in you. I am interested in connecting with people. I love the idea of having friends halfway around the world...or maybe even only one state away. Who knows, you could stumble across this page and it could turn out that we live in the same city (Jacksonville, NC).
Everyone has a story to tell. This is only a small fraction of mine and just by staying on this page, by reading what I have written here our lives, our stories have for a few brief minutes become intertwined.
Who am I? I am one more face on a planet full of faces. But I have thoughts and feelings; hopes and dreams.
Who are you? You are another face, just like me with your own thoughts and feelings; hopes and dreams. And I want to know you, the person that I just shared a part of my story with. I want to connect with you.

My Personal Blog
This is a personal blog that I started fairly recently. I have had many blogs over the years, each of them represented different chapters of my life. This one is no different.
In it, I discuss my day to day life, my thoughts and feelings on different subjects, and provide links to other sites relevant to whatever I am talking about. Basically, it deals with whatever I feel like discussing when I sit down to update it.
Check it out if you are feeling up to it. Leave a link for me to check out your blog if you have one.

Stealing Eternity
My Writing Blog
This is my second blog. It focuses more on my writing. It includes my ideas and information about what I am working on at the moment as well as what I am currently reading.
Eventually I want to include writing prompts as well as helpful links for other writers.

Dream Journal
Personal Dream Journal
This is one of my newer blogs. It is going to be a collection of my dreams, links to sites dealing with dream interpretation and potentially lucid dreaming. It is more for fun than anything else. I would be interested in following any other blogs similar to this, so please contact me if you are keeping an online journal dealing with your dreams.
To Be a Sister
This is probably one of my favorite lenses I have created so far. It is kind of a celebration of sisterhood as well as just a way to give love to my own sisters.
The Everlasting Fairy Tale
An Intro to Fairy Tales
I'm getting ready to start a writing project which I am calling the Everlasting Fairy Tale. I recently created a lens that gives just a brief history of fairy tales and gives the very basic idea of my writing project.
Be Sure To Check Out This Lens
And journey with me as I try to make money using the Internet. Can it actually be done? Check my page for progress.
Journey to Success
This blog is related to the lens linked above. The goal is to give a better understanding of how money is made online (if it truly can be done), but giving regular updates on my status as I attempt to earn a little bit of cash online.
One Year Anniversary
As of March 1, 2009, Derrick and I have been married for one year.I am posting this picture in honor and celebration of us and our love for one another. It has been an interesting year, with lots of ups and downs and figuring stuff out, but we made it...and we still love each other.
May we continue to love each other more each year than we did the last. <3
Stuff I'm Selling
Books I Totally Dig
As I said before, I totally nerd out when it comes to vampires and werewolves, so you will definitely find a couple of books like that below, but you will also find my favorite Historical Fiction author and some other exciting fantasy novels with plenty of action and romance to boot.

- Really liked this lens. Pretty awesome writing considering you're only 21. It's the talent of writing. I consider myself talented as well, but I'm more talented in the fiction realm of things. Only problem is I quit for like 10 years from depression and also from having 4 kids. I wish I had tried to write every day like you do no matter what. I would be a lot better off at writing now than I am at 35, That won't stop me though. Inspiring lens. I appreciate it! Thanks!

- Hi, I'm pleased to be the first one to post a comment on your lens. I'm new here myself. Very nice lens. You're a very good, intuitive writer. Keep at it. Very good use of visuals and very nice, soft integration of marketing. I'm gonna post this lens on my discovery link. Since you asked, here's the link to my About Me - not as nice as yours, but it's a start: http://www.squidoo.com/About-Me-17
BTW, the shyness will get better as you get older.
I really like what you wrote here:

I grew up in and around New York City. Many times I've walked along the crowded streets of Manhattan looking at all of the people and thought about the fact that this very minor interaction of me seeing them and them seeing me is our entire relationship. It still blows my mind to this day.
