Why Personal Effectiveness is the Key to Success

You need to judge your capabilities accurately in order to succeed in life.

Do not let other people tell you what you are good at or what you should or should not be doing. Remember that other than you no one else can know what you are capable of. Therefore, never be afraid of trying new things due to fear of being judged.

It is normal for people to criticize what you do. Some do it out of genuine concern and want you to improve your skills so that you do not repeat your own mistakes twice. Others do it to demoralize you and make you doubt yourself.

Self confidence is he key to success in most cases. If you don't think you are good enough no one else will think so. Everyone needs to be told that they are good at what they do. This does not mean that your existence depends on other people's opinions and praises. Learn to separate the honest ones from the fake. This will prevent you from disillusionment.

If you find yourself in a particularly rough situation and it seems that everything is falling apart don't give up hope, there comes a time in each of our lives when we want to give up and run away. The clever ones know how to hold on. Notice that I use the word "clever" instead of "strong". Even strong people can be surprisingly weak when it comes to making decisions!

You need to be clever enough to realize that bad times don't last forever in the same way that good times also go away. What you need to do is enjoy the good times and work through the bad ones. While doing so not only will you learn new things about your work and life, you will also learn things about yourself.

Remember that it is okay to take help when you find things too difficult. You will discover abilities that you never though you possessed. The smart thing to do is note these facts down and work on them so that they reap profit for you when the time comes.

Project Planning
Mind Maps can also be useful in briefing new team members on the project. When a new team member is assigned to the project, the Mind Maps will give them a picture of the overall project goals, updating them very quickly. The Maps also outline any issues that were faced during the planning of the project and how they were solved, as well as a graphical overview of the tasks, how they relate to each other and their importance and impact in the greater scheme of things.
Self confidence
The socio-psychological concept of self-confidence relates to self-assuredness in one's personal judgment, ability, power, etc., sometimes manifested excessively.[1]
