Phil Stacey with the Jacksonville Jaguars mascot, November 2007Phil Stacey was born on January 21, 1978 in Richmond, Kentucky. Stacey's father, Gary Stacey, is a Church of God pastor. Both of his grandfathers, Carlie Horn and E.T. Stacey, were also Church of God pastors. His father in law, Mark McIntosh pastors the Evangelistic Center Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Stacey grew singing in church in Fairfield, Ohio. He served as the music minister for First Coast Christian Center in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2006.

Phil Stacey - Life After "American Idol"

Phil Stacey is now an American country and gospel music singer whose debut single, "If You Didn't Love Me," was released to radio in early 2008. His self-titled debut album came out on April 29, 2008.

Stacey is now signed to Reunion Records, and a debut Christian album is due in 2009. Phil Stacey's projects include: Phil Stacey (EP) released in 2007; American Idol which released in 2008.

Phil Stacey lives in Hendersonville (just outside Nashville), Tennessee, with his wife Kendra and two daughters.
