Tips & Tricks on How to use Photoshop 7.0
This lens is a basic use on tips & tricks of how to use photoshop to make basic designs. I am not a professional by any means and i do not know everything - but these are some basic tricks of how to do things i learned while making designs for my online shop http://www.cafepress.com/shopaholicchick i will try to post tips at regular intervals for new things i have learned - much of this stuff i figured out on my own - some of it other people showed me - all of it allows you to do new and more interesting things in photoshop!!!
This is generally for people who are using photoshop to make designs for t-shirts or other silimar type uses - however it will also help if you are just trying to learn photoshop for fun
How to make 1 image in several colors
- make sure your image is all on one layer - do this by using the merge visible feature
- go to image from the menu bar at the top
- choose adjust
- choose replace color
- when the window appears to adjust color use the eyedropper to pick what color on your image you wish to adjust
- if you have several shades of the same color and want to adjust only one - or want to adjust them all - use the bar at the top of the color adjust screen to determine how much of a varient there is on the color to change - if you move it to the left it will be more narrow and only change the one you clicked on - to the right it will also adjust similar colors
- use the bars at the bottom to adjust the color, brightness & lightness
- make sure you save it once you have a color scheme you like - then repeat for each additional color!!!
