My Personal Experience Learning Languages
As someone who has studied Spanish, French, Hebrew, and Latin, I am quite familiar with a variety of language learning programs. Without doubt many of them provide excellent material, albeit using different approaches and techniques. This is my Pimsleur Review. Personal Experience: My Pimsleur Review
That being said, what was my personal experience like using Pimsleur?I used Pimsleur to study French and Hebrew, both of which I had studied previously in both classroom settings and using other methods. If that was the case, why did I need Pimsleur? Well in the case of Hebrew I could read quite well, but still suffered from the inability to respond effectively to real time conversational situations. So while I understood what someone was saying, my time to process and respond was slow.
The basic but increasingly longer phrases used by the Pimsleur program and the constant review incorporated into the course insured that my ability to respond was drastically increased.
