Where can I find a pink coffee maker?

Are there any good pink coffee makers?

So you want a pink coffee maker? Well I have looked and looked and I only found one good pink coffee maker, there is no point getting a pink one if it is rubbish is there?

Well ok actually I found three, but two of them are coffee presses which are manual coffee makers, let's have a look at your options then:

The pink Cuisinart DCC-1100PK coffee maker

The pink Cuisinart DCC-1100PK is the most popular pink coffee maker I could find that had good reviews, and you have to admit it is a very cute coffee maker with that nice little metal finish around the control panel, plus if you purchase it then they donate some money to a breast cancer research charity!

At the time of writing you can get it for under $60 which is a bargain, but that is with 46% off at Amazon.com so if you can still get it for that then grab it.

For that then you get a 12 cup drip coffee maker, but you can get it to give you 1 - 4 cups if you don't need a full pot, and you can pause the brewing process to grab a quick cuppa if you are brewing more than one but can't wait that long.

It also comes with the ability to get it to turn on when you need it, great for that morning cup of 'wake me up' coffee as you go for breakfast. Plus you get a permanent filter so you don't need to mess with those paper ones, but you do need to wash it which is a bit of a pain.

For coffee then you don't have to pay through the nose for the little coffee pods that other makers use, you can just grind your own beans or buy pre-ground stuff and pop that in, then make sure you have enough water and select how big a brew you want and away you go.

You can also get a toaster to match it! We'll look at that later on, but now let's look at some pink coffee presses.

Or you could try a pink coffee press?

If you don't fancy the pink Cuisinart coffee maker, then how about making your coffee the old fashioned way with a pink coffee press? You can get a 3 cup version or an 8 cup version, the Bodum New Brazil is the darker pink one in the picture to the left, which is kind of funky but might not go with any other pink appliances you have as it is not a traditional pink colour. The LaCafetiere Rainbow press is the other one which is a lighter more traditional pink.

To use it then you pop in some ground coffee, add the boiling water, then put on the top and plunger with the plunger lifted up out of the water, then after around 4 minutes you push the plunger down which pushes all the ground coffee to the bottom so you can pour out your coffee without it having any bits in it. You can adjust how much coffee and water you put in to change the amount you get and the strength of it too, that means you can buy a larger one and you don't have to fill it to the top each time, but you do have that option to fill it up if you have more people round.

A coffee press is easy to use when you get used to it, but it is nowhere near as lazy as getting a coffee maker to do it for you! The choice is yours!

How about a pink toaster to finish things off?

Ok so now you know what pink coffee maker you want don't you? So now let's finish off the kitchen with a lovely pink toaster, then you can have coffee and toast to get you started in the morning, there is no better way to start the day!

This Cuisinart CPT-120PK will do you two pieces of toast, or it has extra wide slots so you can do bagels and muffins etc in it too, and you get 9 different browning levels so you can choose how well you want everything done. It is a cool-touch so you don't have to worry about burning yourself if you touch the outside while you are getting the butter and marmalade ready, and it has a 'high-rise carriage' on it to get out smaller items which is a nice little feature as on mine I have to try and make small items jump out and then grab them as they fly out the top! It is fun, until you catch a slice wrong and it spins across the room and lands on the floor...

This is a great addition to any pink lovers kitchen, although if you buy the Bodum New Brazil coffee press then remember this toaster won't match it, but it will match the other coffee maker and press I have discussed.
