Bacon at the Duck Inn
This is the Duck In of Stanwood, WA USA. They are the finest bacon cooks we have every found.
They are so good at it, that they cant even tell you how they do it. They just do it right. The strips are extra long, never burnt and never too soft, great color and taste.
We have all eaten at many restaurants and cafes, and so you know just how touchy bacon can be, and every time it's different, even when you cook it at home, it comes out different every time. Well Duck In has it down!
You can tell by the crowd that the food is good!
On the walls are duck figures, art and a big mural painted by a local artist named Gunter. He loves to paint flying pigs which he has included in the mural of ducks. There's too many customers to get a good shot of it, you have to see for yourself.
We took a piece of bacon to our bacon connoisseur who is extremely picky about bacon quality. We can usually tell when we try the bacon if she will approve or not. Duck In Bacon is #1 on her list. She can smell it as soon as it enters the house.
