What's a Plasma TV?

Plasma TVs or Plasma Display Panels are made up of thousands of pixels containing inert noble gases.
These pixels, which are placed in between two glass panes parallel to the screen, contain three smaller pixels: one with a red phosphor, a green phosphor, and a blue phosphor.
Each pixel lights up when the electrode attached to it causes a plasma discharge and stimulates the phosphors. The color is controlled by varying the current of the charge.
Charging the pixels ever so swiftly forms the moving picture on the screen, and the plasma is up and running.
