Platinum Panda

Platinum Panda coins are some of the most highly valued collectable coins in the world.  This comes from the scacity of the metal itself which has surpassed the value of gold and has almost doubled in price over the last year.  The numismatic value of these coins is also increasing due to the limited minting of these coins and that with the rising price of platinum, some may eventually be sold as bullion to be melted down.  Only 8,300 were repoted to have been minted by the Chinese government with some estimating that the actual number was lower because of the rarity of some of the coins.
