Pros: Clue Classic is a true adaptation of the Clue board game that we all know and love. Using the same rules, layout and game play as the original. But this computer version goes further with animations and sound effects. The animations, such as the way the die roll onto the board, the cut scenes at the beginning of the game and the end scene where the murder is re-enacted. And the sound effects from the weapons and suspects to the creepy music as you move along the underground secret passages; all help to create an atmosphere of suspense!Plus the dynamic detective notebook and detailed move history, makes it easier to concentrate on the game, instead of having to worry about taking notes all the time. Similarly, you can speed up the other players' turns, so you don't have to sit through their goes, as you do in the real-world version.
Cons: You can't play Clue online or against others, but you do play Clue against computer opponents.
So, if you like playing Clue and have a hankering for a quick (or slow) game, then having this Classic Clue on your Mac or PC is a convenient way to get your Clue fix whenever you want. And unlike the real board game, you don't have to worry about finding someone to play with!

Pros: This Clue game uses all the game play Clue fans love about Cluedo and adds a hidden object twist, which makes for a very exciting Clue game. Instead of being one of the suspects, you play police detective. And you must search rooms by playing the hidden object games, to find clues and weapons. Also a new addition to the Clue game is the rumors and hints system, which is a more real-world theme on the traditional 'make a suggestion' feature of the board game. Your dynamic case file collects your evidence and logs the hints you are given by the suspects. And you are given just 2 hours to solve each case, which adds a bit more spice to the game. Throughout the game there are things that may lose you minutes as well as bonuses that gain you time. This Clue online game has also been updated, with modern rooms and hidden objects, though the basics of the game are still faithful to the original. There are also mini-games and puzzles to crack, which you must solve in order to unlock some of the rooms.Each case of whodunit is unique, as the clues, mini games and evidence are randomly generated for each game, giving you over 400 cases to solve and many of hours of sleuthing!
Cons: The hints and rumor systems makes this game play slightly different to the original, but once you get the hang of it, this Clue game will satisfy all those looking for a fun and engaging detective computer game.
