Plants that are Poisonous to Pets

We love our pets, but sometimes we can create an unsafe environment for them by accident.  Pets are naturally curious, love to sniff, chew and explore.  Sometimes, this can include treating our houseplants like a salad bar.  In addition to being bad for your plants, and generally annoying for the people who have to clean up, some plants can KILL your pets.  There are many plants commonly found in the home that are poisonous.  The effects of these plants can be mild illness to death.  Take a look at the list here, and help keep your furry friends safe.  Many of the plants listed here can also make a child who takes a bite very ill, or even cause death.  For both pets and children, house hold plants are more then just décor.
