Portland State University
Portland State is one of eight schools in the Oregon University System. It is the largest campus in the system in terms of enrollment with 24,999 students during the Fall 2007 semester. Its location sets it apart from the other schools as well since it is the only university in an urban setting. However, due to Portland's proximity to beautiful natural surroundings, the mountains, rivers, and ocean are all a short car ride away. Forest Park, the largest urban forest in the United States, is only a short bike ride away.
