Here's a recent picture we just took the other night. We were trying to get new pictures of our puppies because just like human babies (maybe even more so) they grow SOOOOO fast. While we were trying to get these pictures, the girls wanted to get involved too. So here is one of the photos we were able to capture.

So that's my baby brother on my dog. My dad would have flipped if he saw that picture. He has a fear of dogs. I used to have one too because when I was little, my dad and I were walking on a sidewalk one day when we came across two unleashed dogs. They were in a garage for an apartment and I just remember them barking at us and jumping up on a car hood. I didn't like those dogs at all. I don't know what kind they were or anything. I never had a dog growing up, but I think that experience made me a little wary of dogs since it's one of the ONLY dog experiences I remember as a child.

Now that I own dogs, I understand them much better. Some dogs still scare me because they obviously aren't friendly. But the ones that are don't worry me anymore. It never has anything to do with breed either (whether I feel safe around a dog or not).

My kids are around dogs all the time and my dogs are around kids all the time. Come back and visit every so often and you'll see what I mean.
