What do you think of this concept?

Do you like the idea of postsecrets?

From the lens A Lifetime Of Secrets: A PostSecret Book.

Did you love the ideas of sending, and reading others' secrets? Do you think it is healthy to release your secrets? Is this self-therapy? Did the letters strike you in a certain way? Were you surprised by any postcards? Which secret struck you the most, and why?

It is odd and sad. Some secrets just don't feel safe telling. This is a means for people to voice things without fear of judgment or rejection. It's an interesting concept.

Yes, it was really a lot of fun to read other's post secret.. In a way it is some sort of a self-therapy to release some secrets in life though there are some negative and positive outcome. All in all it was really amazing how these secrets can make you laugh with all the oddities of life. ~Blessed by an angel..~

I have never heard of it until I am here! I would only be able to tell if I have tried it !
Thank you for this interesting idea!

It seems odd, but on the other hand, it seems strange that people would have such poor interpersonal relationships that they open up only strangers. In some instances, it reads like guilt free exhibitionism. In others, reads like self-pity asserting itself. What use is anonymous confession?

Wouldn't it make more sense to work on genuine friendships?

Loved these books. I created a website called YouReveal.com where people reveal their secrets and confessions.

This is very interesting. I never thought someone would publish a book of others' secrets.

I do love your lens. I don't follow the bestsellers list, and I had never heard of these books or the website. I think Frank Warren has done a incredible service to those who need to "release" their secrets. It might even save someone from suicide because they can free themselves from guilt. Your presentation of this information is first class. I am going to share it on Facebook, Twitter, and I am going to join your fan club so I can enjoy more of your great writing. 5*

This is an amazing book. Just about everyone has a secret they keep inside. This provided them a place to let it out without really giving it up.
