He did!

When to Potty Train
How do I know they are ready?
Deciding when to potty train is the first step in the process. Most children are ready for potty training between 22 and 30 months of age.1. Look for signs....bowel movements at the same time every day, staying dry for over 2 hours at a time, telling you to change their diaper.
2. The child wants to be "a big girl" or "a big boy" and wear underware. This is a great opening to start the process.
3. School. If you are thinking of any 3-school or pre-school for your child, they need to be toilet trained. This a a great motivator for the child as well. Mention going to school, but they need to be potty trained.
Don't - potty train because everyone else's child is potty training or grandma thinks it's time.
Don't- force the child as they will resist and make it a very unpleasant situation for everyone. If they resist, they probably aren't ready.
