A Parents Guide to Toilet Training

The Author doesn't give you theories, but practical help from her experience working in day care centers. With a Masters Degree in Childhood Education, and practical experience her book is rated one of the best.

We all know of the power struggles involved with Potty Training, but a Theory Book doesn't help much at the time. I know, because I raised 5 kids, and Foster Parented many more. We can either get involved in power struggles or learn how to successfully transition our little ones from Diapers to the Toilet. Successful and stress free Potty Training is wonderful!

Keeping your toddler safe: toilet seat locks

The safety of our children is important to all of us. A child can easily open up the toilet seat and either play in the toilet, or worse. Here are a few items that you might consider to help "baby proof" your toilet.

Having bought many Child Safety Items, I personally like most of the Safety 1st Items. They didn't have locks when my children were little, and I wish they had as many of my daughters toys were washed in the toilet. And we lost a pet bunny that drowned by hopping into an open toilet. But you can protect your little ones with these Toilet Locks.

Potty Training Targets for Little Boys

Teach your little boy how to Aim while Potty Training

Little boys love to play, and Potty Training Targets help teach them to aim. Of course, we like it too when both little boys and big boys get their aim right....saves US from having to clean up the mess. So why not buy a set for your "big boy" too :)

All comments and feedback welcome here

Oh the memories this brings back.....besides teething I found Potty Training to be the next most challenging time as a mother. Oh and how I wish I had some of those "targets" for little boys. If you are in the process of Potty Training I hope you found these resources of value.

I don't see the lensroll feature, so I'll link to your page. It will go well with my potty training strong willed children lens!
