Prams and Pushchairs

For a new baby, you have the selection of choosing a traditional pram or a multi-purpose buggy, which can do both jobs with a few tweaks. A pram looks nice but some of the better models can be costly, specifically as a pram may only be used a few months. However, a pram can be paired up as a second cot until the baby gets larger.

A second issue the pram has compared to a stroller is its size. They are ideal for traveling on a rough path or in the park but they are almost intolerable to get on most buses and they are also hard to steer in a busy public area.

In recent years, highchairs and baby pram or pram has become more popular as they are usually more compact and modern, but manage to offer the stability of a pram. A baby buggy can also be used for many more weeks than a pram, even for months, dependent on the type you choose.

The ordinary pram looks like the traditional pram out of all the styles. It is also the type that can do the most number of tasks. As well as a stroller, it normally has a big amount of space for bags and accessories and also often comes with a detachable cot or newborn carrier. A good all-arounder.

The umbrella stroller is the lightest and most compact of them all, and probably the most unpopular for those reasons. These strollers are easier to take on coaches, trains and will fit nicely into the car trunk. They normally come with a rain or sun hood and a small carrying tray or net underneath.

There is an even lighter report of this pushchair, which doesn't have a hood or any carrying compartments. It is very transportable, but you have to hope it doesn't rain!

This type of buggy is often a three-wheeler and is the most stylish of the bunch. In fact, many mothers go for this type for the style as much as anything else. They can often be more high-priced due to their lustrous shape but do offer a comfortable ride for both passenger and pusher. Bear in mind that many of these strollers are often heavier than normal ranges.

Like the all terrain pram, these have air-filled tires, which of course can pop. These will offer a smoother ride and be more adept at tackling rougher terrain. The belief is you can keep fit while pushing your kid, as long as the baby is old enough.

Each baby buggy offers it own advantages and disadvantages, which may or may not be appropriate for you. So, when you buy your pushchair, keep in mind how and where you are going to use it and you won't go wrong.
