Pregnancy exercise is one of the best ways to bring a baby into the world. Health and fitness do not need to take a back seat the minute the test result is positive. If you can improve or maintain your healthy lifestyle while carrying life's little miracle the better the situation becomes for all parties involved.

It can seem scary to continue running or control your chocolate intake but trust me the end result is priceless!

When I first found out I was pregnant my first reaction, after calling the doctor of course, was to sit back and relax. While this is an exciting time I thought I needed to prop up my feet and let everyone else cater to me, I was after all growing a human how much did they expect me to do?!

Unfortunately, the more I sat, the worse I felt. I have always been active and healthy and I soon realized that what I needed was a good pore cleansing workout. I discovered that even though I couldn't keep up at the same pace every little bit helped.

Instead of running I walk, instead of weight training I do yoga, and instead of eating french fries any chance I got I opted for fresh fruit.

Talk to your doctor when starting a Pregnancy Exercise

As I became healthier I improved my child's environment and you can do the same thing! Talk to your doctor first, but if you can improve your health and fitness during pregnancy you are only going to make life better for you and your little miracle!
