What will new healthcare legislation do for your health?
This lens will focus on health, health-care, and vital information that you will never hear covered, in any detail in the media. Somehow, many just seem to either miss the point, or ignore the point.
I would hate to die with health insurance, because that would mean that it didn't do me any good, although if I'm lucky, it might keep my family from being financially wiped out. At least that is one of the stated goals. The problem is, a grown-up discussion is yet to take place.
Many are still awaiting a substantive discussion on health, that will lead to having people end up healthier. That's health and not health-care. While one is a state of being, the other is a response (and a very poor one, at that). There is no doubt in my mind that if we really focused on health, health-care would be less expensive, but then, some financial interests would suffer, and we wouldn't want that.
Some may find some of what I will be presenting shocking, but most of the information has been there all the time, hiding in plain sight. You were probably distracted by all those ritzy and slick drug and food commercials. There is however a giant red flag attached to those drug commercials. A couple of big red flags that everyone should pay particular attention to is the disclaimers and lawsuit commercials.
Disclaimers of course, are drug manufacturers attempts to caution you about certain possible side effects the drugs may have on you. You'll notice that most of them involve the heart, liver, and kidneys. In fact, the possible effects sound much worse than the disease itself. I have a difficult time separating side effects form collateral damage.
Lets face facts, this health-care thing, as well as every other important issue, has money and greed at it's roots, because if we all we're healthy, then no money could be made off of us. That should leave you with something to contemplate.

Hidden Perils of Poor Circulation
First lets answer the question - why does our blood clot? Well If it didn't, a minor cut could cause us to bleed to death. But thanks to our body's ability to produce several compounds that supports coagulation or clotting, the wound will stop bleeding via a clot formed at the wound site.
Real problems occur however when there is an imbalance between our ability to clot and our ability to keep blood thin and flowing. Our bodies produce several compounds to assist clotting but only one to keep blood from clotting (Plasmin). Also as we age our ability to produce Plasmin decreases. And worse of all when clotting occurs within our circulatory system caused by toxins, bacteria and fungus. This by far is the worst possible situation.
We may find ourselves struggling with a number of malities that we don't associate with poor blood flow such as:
o High Blood Pressure
o Leg Cramps
o Skin Problems
o Poor Sleep
o Headaches
o Dementia
o Diabetes
o Varicose Veins
o Brain Fog
o Digestive Problems
o Erectile Disfuntion
o Low Lobido
o Swelling
o Blood Sugar Imbalances and more...
And that's of course in addition to the heart and brain problems that we commonly associate with poor circulation. So it's easy to view the conditions listed above as a precursor to a more serious condition.
Even something as seemingly benign as cold hands and feet could indicate poor circulation. It's interesting to note that the human body has about 75,000 miles of arteries, blood vessels, and capillaries, holding about six liters of blood.
Let's understand that blood carries oxygen to organs and tissues and carries toxins out of the body, so it's importance can't be overstated. That is why proper blood flow is critical. Imagine for example, the eyes. Blood reaches the eyes via capillaries. Look in the mirror at the whites of your eyes and see how small a capillary actually is. When blood is thick and not flowing freely, how can a capillary be adequately supplied with fresh blood?
Proper blood flow is central to a healthy condition. Consider the digestive system. It is where nutrition is extracted from what we eat and is the distribution point via blood to the rest of the body. If we have inadequate blood flow in our digestive tract, how will nutrition make it to where it is needed? In addition if we have problems in our digestive system as a result of blood flow problems, we will most certainly see problems elsewhere in the body.
Our blood vessels have the capability to produce Fibrin, the chief clotting agent. We encounter problems when Fibrin is produced within our blood vessels caused by unsaturated fats, chemicals, bacteria, and fungus. The uncontrolled production of Fibrin anywhere and everywhere within the circulatory system can cause all manor of disease including Heart disease and stroke.
Pay particular attention to the disclaimers that accompany commercials for aspirin, and other so-called blood thinners. In fact, thinning your blood is just one aspect of the problem. What about all that Fibrin which has narrowed openings in your circulatory system and continue to accumulate? Could that be the cause of some ailments that you might be suffering right now, but have not connected the dots? Disolving Fibrin within arteries are just as important because that can have the effect pressing the reset button for your circulatory system.
From stiffness to high blood pressure - from digestive irregularities to great nightly sleep, improving and enhancing blood flow is something that can have a positive effect on the entire body.
There is only one truly effective solution for accomplishing both of those problems (blood thinning and removal of Fibrin) and that's Natto. It's been consumed by the Japanese for over 1000 years. Recent studies have shown the effectiveness of nattokinase, which is derived from Natto. Google It! Give your circulatory system a rejuvination and protect your heart and brain
Make Yourself Heart Attack Proof
Caldwell Esselstyn, MD of the famed Cleveland Clinic gives a FULL 62 minute talk from the 2003 VegSource Healthy Lifestyle Expo.
Dr. Esselstyn's ongoing 21-year study shows that you CAN reverse heart disease and save your life. Of 20 patients sent home to die by their cardiologists in 1989, every one is still alive and healthy today, and heart-disease free, even though together they had had a total of 63 cardiac events before entering his study.

Managing Chronic Disease
Second, is to respond to diagnosed problems. Problems when found might necessitate surgery, medication, or both, usually targeted at a specific condition. That approach primes you for the next series of problems you will likely encounter.
The human body is not like an automobile, where you replace or repair one part and you're back on the road again. Eventually another component will fail somewhere down the road. To look at it another way, you can replace enough parts that you essentially have a new automobile. Not so with the body.
Once you receive the bad news of heart disease, diabetes or cancer, for instance, then chronic disease management kicks in, sentencing you to a bevy of drugs for the rest of your life. At this point they are conceding that the drugs they are prescribing won't cure you, but sustain you in a steadily declining state of health, while other conditions manifest themselves, for which you'll be prescribed more drugs. Venture to guess where this is heading?
On the other hand wellness takes a completely different approach. Embracing wellness means taking steps to avoid the devastating circular scenario played out above.
While one approach (wellness) will cost you money along the way, the other can very well cost your health, wealth and your life. The wellness route will prolong or prevent entirely the onset of degenerative diseases, as well as provide a much better quality of life in the process. The holistic nature of wellness treats the entire body nutritionally, as it builds, sustains, and fortifies immunity. This means that you are not waiting for the next diseased shoe to drop, you're being proactive and therefore more equipped to handle a problem should one arise.
Wellness makes sense on the basis of cost alone. It's cost is spread out over time, and more financially tolerant. Traditional management of disease will not only exhaust your insurance coverage (if you are lucky enough to have it), but also devastate you financially. This not only effects you personally but also your family. It's the ultimate attack on the well-being of you, your economy and your loved ones. The only real winner here is the medical establishment and drug companies.
Perhaps the best part of the wellness approach is the sense of confidence you have when you know that you have done all that you know every day to fortify your body against disease. You also can stop looking over your shoulder for fear of the next disease.
Anyone can get sick but how your body is able to respond makes all the difference, and can determine your ability to recover. Practicing wellness not only allows you to survive, but also allows you to thrive.
With all the known problems with the environment, chemicals, food, antibiotics and disease, a good wellness plan will ensure that you are taking steps not only to live, but live happy.
