This book WILL Reveal Why You Are Broke, Stuck In A Job (that you should NOT have anyway), And What Financially Free People Know That You Don't

We ALL have the skills to make money, but the question is why can't we get rich, or better put, financially free? And whether you make $10 million a year or $10,000 a year has nothing to do with the answer. To find out if you'll eventually become financially free or be "poor" for the rest of your life, take a look in the book (borrow it, buy it, or just brose in it via Amazon's "Look Inside" feature) and see if you have the "rich dad" mentality or the "poor dad" mentality.

"Rich Dad Poor Dad" exposes how most Americans think. Let me give you a little hint. The average credit card debt per American household...$8000. Average total debt per household EXCLUDING mortgages...$18,654! This was 2003's statistics from the Federal Reserve, and it has been growing. (Reference: Money Central)

I think we have found part of the problem why we cannot build wealth. The other part is what do we do with our money when we make it? Well, Robert Kiyosaki tells you in an easy to read and very entertaing story format why the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer.

This book has changed me in not one, but two ways. The first one, as you might have guessed, is my financial habits. The second one is the DESIRE to learn. With that WANTING to learn, I've never been more eager to finish a round of golf just so I could race home and find the answer to that burning question inside. And this eagerness trickled over to other subjects as well. This was the "spark" that changed me from loathing to read to can't go to the bathroom without any reading material in hand. Yes, this has forever changed me! It's so much easier to learn when you WANT to learn. Like they say, "When the student is ready, the teacher appears."

Rich Dad Poor Dad
This is a must read if you want to break free from your employer. Grab a copy at your local libray or buy it cheap used at eBay. Either way, see if you have a "Rich Dad" or "Poor Dad" mentality.

Even One Lesson Helps

After reading "Rich Dad Poor Dad" I never stopped asking myself "What other ways can I earn passive income so I can be INDEPENDENT?" 'Till this day (I read it back sometime in 2001-ish), that question still drives me to search and search and NEVER stop learning anything and everything to become independent (it's almost an addiction, that's how much a changed me).

Anyway, in my constant research for money making ideas, I've finally come across a video lesson program that you do not have to pay for! Ed Dale and his team will teach you the foundation of creating sustainable on-line income...for FREE!

I really don't care if you use my link or just type in the URL in your address bar (without the "challenge/39295" part - They just give out prizes to people who let others know about their program).

Thanks for your comment "tlash." I agree that the simple diagrams says it all. Flow your money one way and you will become broke. But, if you just shift the flow of money the other way, you will become financially independent.

Be a good steward of your money and it will take care of you! Have fun with all endeavors.

Great book!! The best lesson I got out of the book was the diagram of financial statements. That made them much easier to understand.

Thanks for your (kind) comment, although all comments are welcomed.

I wish I read this when I was younger. I'm sure I would have been better off financially. But, since we can NEVER go back in the past, the least I could do is pass on what "could have been for me" and give a kid / young adult a chance to experience something that changed my life. There are kid's versions if this is too difficult to understand (but it's actually an EASY read...even for a "non-reader" like myself).

I'm sorry for taking so long to thank you for your comment (and rating, if that was you). Still learning how to use the features in Squidoo.

I ditto your comment and like I said, it was life changing and sooo good that I actually could not wait to get done with a golf game to come home and finish reading it!

    Thanks again for your comment!
