Hierarchy of Importance of Bodybuilding Supplements for Beginners

Top 3 Bodybuilding Supplements For Beginners

Bodybuilding Supplements have become a major worldwide industry over the last couple of decades, with new bodybuilding supplements manufacturers appearing on a very regular basis. So, with up to 100 different manufacturers producing thousands of different products, I'm sure that most of you will be perplexed as to what you should actually spend your hard earned money on! Well, here is a list showing the three most beneficial bodybuilding supplements, with the most important bodybuilding supplements at the top of the list:

1. Whey Protein Powder - forms the the building blocks of muscles, so unless you meet your daily protein requirements, spread out evenly throughout the day, you will not get results. By the way, protein needs to be consumed at least every 3 hours to ensure that you maintain a positive nitrogen balance (muscle building state), or you will be continuously gaining and losing muscle throughout the day and you will not get good overall results. Whey Protein is the cheapest and best source of protein per gram (from food or supplements) and is best used to supplement your meals, if they are lacking in protein.

2. Slow Releasing Protein Supplements - Micellar casein is a slow releasing protein which can help your body stay in an anabolic muscle building state for up to 7 hours, so is an ideal supplement to take before bed. Micellar Casein is the preferred form.

3. Creatine Monohydrate supplements - increases muscle energy and hydration, therefore increasing muscle size and strength, allowing you to do more reps with more weight, thereby training your muscles to a higher level, leading to further increases in muscle size and strength. When you stop using Creatine Monohydrate, muscle energy and hydration will return to normal levels, but the muscle size and strength gains made whilst using Creatine Monohydrate will be maintained.

This guide is intended for someone who is fairly new to bodybuilding and strength training and wants to improve their results. The above supplements will give best results when combined with a suitable bodybuilding program and bodybuilding diet, plenty of rest, sleep and 8+ glasses of water per day.

Creatine is a nitrogenous organic acid that occurs naturally in vertebrates and helps to supply energy to muscle. I'm new to Bodybuilding and I eat loads of tuna... what is the problem?

As Tuna is high in the food chain, it contains very high levels of Mercury, which is a heavy metal, but unlike other heavy metals, such as lead and zinc, has no positive health effects for the human body. In fact, Mercury from tuna can be very harmful, if you consume more than a few tins per week. Symptoms such as memory loss, impaired vision and mental disturbances can be experienced as a result of the high amounts of Mercury in Tuna.
