Cure Psoriasis? Natural Healing Is The Answer!

You have not done anything wrong, but still... There it is, like a tattoo for criminals. The red, scaly sores form on your elbows, knees, scalp, chest and back, itching like crazy. Psoriasis. Doctors do not even know where it comes from and why it starts. Luckily, you do not have to start using the most aggressive forms of medicine to get rid of Psoriasis. Nowadays (and probably ages ago when we lived closer to nature) the cure can be found for Psorasis in Natural Healing.

What is Psoriasis And What Are The Psoriasis Symptoms?

Introduction To Psoriasis Symptoms And How Psoriasis Grows

Psoriasis can be easily diagnosed and this is why it is such an uncomfortable disease to the bearer. It will include one or more of the following:

* Red patches of skin covered with silvery scales
* Small scaling spots (commonly seen in children)
* Dry, cracked skin that may bleed
* Itching, burning or soreness
* Thickened, pitted or ridged nails
* Swollen and stiff joints

In understanding psoriasis, we have found that cells in
the upper part of the skin, the epidermis, reproduce at
extremely rapid rate. During a normal epidermis, cells
move from the bottom to the surface in 28 days. The
psoriasis cells need only 4 days to reach the surface.
Thus psoriasis is a hyper proliferative disease. This
means it can rapidly spread over the different parts
of your body.

Thus you will have to treat it as soon as possible.
And for me there is only one way to cure diseases,
including Psoriasis: Natural Healing

Why Psoriasis Skips One Person And Attacks The Other!?!

What really causes Psoriasis Symptoms?

Exactly why psoriasis forms is at the moment still not understood. Overall it is considered a genetic disease where 50% of the patients have a 1 or more relatives are known to have the same disease. It is not contagious, nor is it infectious, and in the western medicine it is not suggest any other illness except the slight possibility of psoriatic arthritis. 10% of the psoriasis patients also have this disease. Psoriasis is not bounded to a certain age or sex. Anybody can get it at any time. It is thought (not confirmed) that psoriasis is caused by trauma (sunburn, scratches); certain drugs, such as beta blocker for heart disease; internal cortisone medications and lithium; strep or viral throat infections and emotional or stressful situations.

I just wanted to say that un-natural, non healing, causes most diseases..... So yes, in a sense. Also, I have had psoriasis for 8 years and the best, most simple help I have found has come from having a single shot of wheat-grass juice everyday.

Steve says:

Natural healing is totally fine, BUT...don't by any means call it a cure...there is no cure, only control.

naithan says:

You are right cjsysreform. The last advice I want to give is to not see a doctor. You need the opinion of an qualified doctor. But I will strongly advice you to look for one with knowldege of natural and alternative healing. This way you don't have to eat the most poisonous drugs, because your qualified doctor will let you try something else first. Because he knows the power of natural healing.

naithan says:

Totally! I have friends who the doctors gave up on and with natural healing where cured. Psoriasis and Natural Healing go hand in hand together to a healthy life.

No Way

cjsysreform says:

I think natural healing is fantastic, especially for mild to moderate skin conditions. But for life-threatening diseases that respond best to advanced medical technology, I would never advise anyone to reject that technology in favor of natural remedies. Each approach can be used to compliment the other.

An excellent primer on self-healing,
August 22, 2005
By P. Hollero (California) -

For eleven years, I have had severe psoriasis (76% PASI - if you have it, you know what this means) and moderate (sometimes severe) psoriatic arthritis. Aside from working with my physician, I regularly read books and do research on the treatment of psoriasis.

I methodically try different therapies to try to help myself. This was just another book on my list this year, but has been the most valuable in my collection. This is one of the few psoriasis books that was not written by a designated expert of some kind, but rather someone who was sick like me. I have been quite strict in following the book's psoriasis healing recommendations for almost two months now.

I have only recently begun to experience signs of improvement. The flare-ups are noticeably less severe and I have cleared several long time trouble spots. I am not completely clear and that is to be expected, but I am continuing with the methods and have no doubt that further improvements will follow.

What is surprising is that my overall health has improved significantly - I have lost over 32 lbs and blood pressure has returned to normal levels without medication. I feel better in general. Please try it yourself but be patient. The method in the book is a lifestyle commitment. It's not easy, but if you have it as bad as I did, you will have the discipline to do it.

I have spent 11 years trying to do quick fixes with various drugs that have worked with some degree of success in the short-term, but invariably are not long-term solutions because of bad side-effects or expense. As I said in my review title, this book was a gateway to the world of self-healing. This book has introduced me to a whole new way of thinking about personal health care. I have taken responsibility for my health.

This book shows you how. No one cares about your health as much as yourself. Good luck. DON'T EVER GIVE UP.

A refreshingly different approach,
October 30, 2003

I found this book to be as helpful for general health as for psoriasis. It explained psoriasis to me in a way that I have not heard from any doctor, which is refreshing. The book is easy to read and follows a logical path and convinced me in no uncertain terms to look twice at my medical service. There is a lot to think about, but I liked the way it provides an action plan that can be started immediately. I would recommend this book.

It works!!,
January 12, 2009
By E. B. (Kansas) -

My psoriasis began with a small itchy spot on the back of my head. For several years it would come and go. Then the summer of 2005 it suddenly covered my entire head in a matter of a month. What misery! It itched so at times I could hardly stand it and a good night's sleep became a thing of the past. I went to a dermatologist and he pronounced my fate.

No cure. But I could wet my hair each night before I went to bed, put on the "junk" he prescribed, and cover all with a shower cap. That should help. Yeah, sure. Try sleeping with that clammy mess and your head still itching like the dickens. So I checked the internet, found this book by Jerry G. Scott and began to apply his recommendations, which is mainly a change in diet.

Within a month the psoriasis was gone and did not return for nearly three years. Then one day a new little spot appeared at the back of my head. I had eased off following the diet, but still, except for rare occassions, had refrained from drinking colas of any kind and only indulged moderately in peppers, tomatoes, white potatoes, and a few other forbiddens foods.

I went back on the diet and that little spot disappeared. If I know of someone who has psoriasis, I tell them about this book. Today, seeing it in my bookcase, it occurred to me to do a review, even though I've had the book since 2005. My advice is to try it. It can't hurt you. I'm certainly glad I did. Loaded with information that your doctors won't discuss, even when asked. Have blazed right through this book and now I'm going back over it taking notes and planning MY way out. Outstanding!

I have tried many things to be free of psoriasis, the diets seem to help, cortico-steroids resulted in mini stretch marks, and biologics will molest your wallet. Recently I have started working at a Booster Juice and have access to wheat-grass and a juicer. One shot a day seems to prevent flares completely, and the patches are gradually thinning. I can get shit-canned on Friday again and not flare on Saturday.
Just wanted to let people know because there seems to be very little information about wheat-grass and psoriasis on the net.

This book sounds interesting. I have had psoriasis for over 20 years now and I have tried everything but natural healing...kind of interested in what the book has to say. I have had prescription medicine from doctors before and that is the only thing that ever cleared my skin. Over-the-counter and herbal remedies never really cleared me, just "softened" it. The book might be worth reading, but one must be careful because psoriasis is an immune disease that appears on the skin its not a skin disease and it could lead to more sever conditions. I would try to stay in the care of a doctor especially if the psoriasis is a very sever case - like the picture above. Good lens though and I know what you are going through - first hand!

I agree with MiaBellezza; I'd like to know more about what the book has to say about natural healing for psoriasis. Also, I think your lens needs more text in the introduction module. I have approved it for the Skin Care for Women group, as we have no other lenses on psoriasis. Welcome to the group, and please visit the Skin Care for Women headquarters page to say hi to your fellow members.
