Punky Brewster, a girl with amazing personality had spunk. She knew what was and she knew what she wanted. Punky had her own style. She was oozing with confidence. Henry was a grouchy old man, set in his ways. But Punky made the grouchy man happy again. With her dog, Brandon, and her friends Cherie, Margeaux, and Allen, Punky became an icon of the 80s.

OMG how long has it been since I last saw this? 25 years - at least?

I don't recall ever seeing the pilot episode either so that was good to watch - those first 8 minutes you have anyway. Thanks. I must check out Youtube for more video's.

Now is this George Gaynes, the same one who played the dopey commandant of the Police Academy in the Police Academy movies?

I have a difficult time reminiscing who was Punky Brewster but after reading this lens of yours, I remember when I was a kid, I used to always watch this show. I'll continue reading this lens to refresh my memory 100%.Thanks for the lens! If not for you, I would have put Punky Brewster in a dark corner of my mind for good!
