What adorable pictures of your yorkies, I've always had big dogs, I have a great pyrenes and now a little yorkie. "Frankie", she is the sweetest thing, and like you said they are very smart. You can't help but spoil them, and mine is rotten. Thanks for sharing..

Little doggies are a big responsibility. Thanks for sharing your love for your pets and your most helpful info. I hope you find a good home for your Zoie.

They are really cute... I didn't know they are in danger from such ordinary things, like raisins and onion! I love the breed but have never owned one, our dogs were bigger...:)

I have a little yorkie, he is 13 years old. I have heard a yorkie usually will live pass 10 years but little danu is something else! We have to spell around him too! And if his dinner is late, oh my goodness he will let you know! My little guy is almost blind, losing his hair but you know what, he is still my little guy!! Fantastic page you have written, I did not know mushrooms were bad for them. Ugg... and little Danu loves Fried Mushrooms. hmm..

Yorkies are so cute, I love the pictures that you have here. I haven't had a dog for several years, and sure would like to have one again someday. A little Yorkie would be nice to have, I would like that. Mostly I have had medium or large dogs, but as I get older; I think a small one would be better.
  • karmicchristian May 17, 2011 @ 2:52 am | delete
There's no second guess. :) Your Yorkies are real cute. Thank you.
  • mike rapert Oct 26, 2010 @ 5:20 pm | delete
I think they are cute dogs Now that I see them I know what kind you are talking about. There is more to having pets that just feeding them. I was not aware of all the food and plant dangers with dogs. I can see why it is easy to become attached to them. I think of all pets as children that you have to raise and care for.

I love your web page.I think the dogs are adorible.

An attractive description of your little loves. I have never seen one, they look very sweet. i presume that they are terriers? Did you find a good home for Zoie? You have a lot of good information. We have two terriers. Very different from yours. Look them up at: http://www.squidoo.com/me-and-my-airedale . Copy and paste , cause I don't know yet how to make a link, Best wishes J.

Oh, I forgot to mention that our other new neighbors also got a yorkie! They drove to Atlanta, Georgia I think to pick the puppy up. So that makes 3 yorkies in our neighborhood.

My great-aunt had a Yorkie named Shorty. He was a funny little guy. I think if I ever get another dog (my guy is a big Chow/Retriever mix), it will be a smaller breed.
  • Brad Aug 14, 2008 @ 11:18 pm | delete
Hope you're able to find an appropriate home for your pooch.

Time for an update? Like more puppy photos ;)
  • Mark Hultgren Aug 14, 2008 @ 10:29 am | delete
Yorkies are a special breed! They are one of a very few that are considered hypo-allergenic. So if you are alergic to dog hair or more likely - pet dander, chances are very good that you will be able to live with a Yorkie and not have your alergies flare up!
  • LucyVet Aug 14, 2008 @ 10:02 am | delete

  • Aug 14, 2008 @ 9:48 am | delete

    Cute.

My grandfather loved his Yorkie. Too bad he was mean to everyone else. What is it about people that will let them be nice to a little dog but mean to everyone else?
  • Jul 23, 2008 @ 8:49 am | delete
I really like the pictures on this Lens. Yorkies are cute and adorable. In the village where we live we have a lot of Westies, which seem to be popular around here!
