Why is a quality preschool program important?

Children need to be the center of a preschool program. The classroom is their environment. Shelves should the low so children can get materials independently. They also need to be labled so the children can clean up by themselves. All moms and dads want their child to learn how to be independent and pick up their toys.

Blocks: You should see a block center filled with all types of blocks for building. It is here that our future architecture begins their career.

Art: There needs to be a space for painting, sculpting, cutting, gluing, and playing with play dough.

Music: Music should be playing most of the day, even during rest. There also needs to be instrument. What is a preschool classroom without a marching band.

Books, Books, and more Books: There needs to be lots of books for children to look at pictures and read. There needs to be a variety like picture books, factual books, and big books.

Science: All preschool classrooms need a science area. There needs to be a water table and sand table, scales and microscopes. Here is where our future doctors begin.
