A Bit of History
(a very tiny bit)
Who would have ever thought that would happen? Certainly not the parents of the past several decades!
In Japan, seems they read serialized novels on their cell phones these days. Since the texting programs only allows for about 140 characters, you can imagine how short the segments are.
In America, while the text novels on cell phones haven't quiet caught on, something else has.
It is called Microblogging. What is THAT, you may be asking.
"Microblogging is the practice of sending brief posts to a personal blog on a microblogging Web site, such as Twitter or Jaiku. Microposts can be made public on a Web site and/or distributed to a private group of subscribers."-- Mircoblogging Defined
For a long time (or at least a long time in Internet life spans), Twitter was king...or Queen...of the micro-blogging sites.
Now there is a new spot on the Internet mirco-blogging block.
Welcome to Quillpill!
Below is a screen shot of their "About" page. Since a picture is worth a gazillion words and I don't want to use that many, I thought this would go a long way towards quickly introducing you to this interesting new site!

From the FAQ section of the Quillpill website:
