Reese's V.S. Peanut Butter M&M's

Who has the skinny on peanut butter and chocolate?

Which one do you choose?!? For me? Well, hmm this is a hard one for me. I do not know which one I like better than the other. I tend to buy Reese's Cups more than peanut butter M&M's. But I think I like them both the same. The difference for me is I can eat as much of the Reese;s as I want and never get sick to my stomach! But I do have to admit if I eat too many of the M&M's it makes me sick to my stomach. I just don't understand why though, because I can eat a ton of sugar and never have any problems. So this seems strange to me. But I do love the taste of both but hands down it would have to be Reese's in my book!! But please read on and take look at the interesting things in this site!

My thoughts of Peanut butter and chocolate

I love peanut butter. It can dress up an apple or there's nothing better than a great peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Of coarse the mix of chocolate and peanut butter is the best peanut butter mix ever!! The fact that the chocolate melts in your mouth coating it with a sugary goodness and then the flavor of peanut butter comes through the mix. Mmmmm........ nothing but goodness in my thoughts. Reese's cups are wonderful. Little bites of heaven.

Homemade peanut butter cups

http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/homemade-peanut-butter-cups/detail.aspx

Ingredients

2 cups milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2/3 cup graham cracker crumbs

Directions

In 1-quart saucepan combine chocolate chips and shortening. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth (3 to 5 minutes).
Loosen top paper cup from stack, but leave in stack for greater stability while being coated. With small paint brush, coat inside top cup evenly with about 1 teaspoon melted chocolate to about 1/8-inch thickness, bringing coating almost to top of cup, but not over edge. Repeat until 30 cups are coated; refrigerate cups.
In 2-quart saucepan combine butter or margarine and peanut butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until melted (4 to 6 minutes). Stir in confectioners' sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Press about 1/2 tablespoon filling into each chocolate cup.
Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon melted chocolate on top of filling; spread to cover. Freeze until firm (about 2 hours) carefully peel off paper cups. Store refrigerated.

My thoughts on peanut butter m&m's

Well, let's first start with the fact that the first time I had ever had any of these peanut butter m&m's I made myself absolutely sick eating too many of them. I do think they taste really good, but I have never had a good time with my stomach after I eat them, in any amount, small or large.
