All of our rooms are equipped with a Yamaha P.A. set up. This includes: Yamaha mains, monitors, MG mixer, QSC power amps, Behringer feedback destroyer, mic stands, mic cables. All of our rooms have industry standard mixers and power amps.

If you need microphones or other accessories such as guitar cable, speaker cable, extra mic cables, power cord, etc., just ask and we will provide it for you at no additional charge.

The facility here features 6 practice rooms including a large Showcase Room, as well as a professional recording studio with full audio production capabilities. We can do Rehearsal Recordings (live), multitrack recording, location recording, recital recording, overdubs, editing, mixing and mastering--to name a few. Also onsite is one of OC's expert guitar techs, Danny Ott of Guitar Doctor West. He provides full guitar repair and maintenance services, and does great work! Our Showcase Room is great for shooting video, recording audio, auditions, industry showcases, movie shoots, photo shoots, so don't forget to check it out for your next event.

We are located just off of the 22 Freeway. It is usually best to take the Goldenwest/Knott exit. This exit dumps you out on Garden Grove Blvd. If you are coming from Long Beach (going 22 E), when you exit make a left at the end of the off ramp. If you are coming from Orange or going 22 W, when you exit make a right. We are on Garden Grove Blvd. between Beach Blvd. and Hoover St. (railroad tracks). Landmark to look for (when it's light outside), a big tall red and white sign that says "Headway Music Complex."

Sound Matrix is a full service music and video production facility located in Orange County, California. Our 10,000 sq. ft. building houses eight Rehearsal Studios, a Pro Tools HD Recording Studio, a 2,000 sq.ft. sound stage with VIP lounge, and a 2,000 sq ft Video Production Stage with a hard wall Cyc and lighting grid. Los Angeles native Ronald Girgis and Canadian export Zaven Grigorian conceived the idea that would become Amp Rehearsal back in 1998. The idea was to create a state of the art, ultra clean rehearsal and recording studio that would be affordable for musicians of every stripe, coupled with impeccable service focusing on the needs of each and every band that would walk through Amp Rehearsalís doors.

From conception to completion, the two partners were involved in every aspect of building, equipping, wiring and decorating the initial 9 studios that became the industry standard in high quality yet affordable hourly rehearsal and recording studios. Amp Rehearsalís clientele includes superstars like Roger Daltry, The Black-eyed Peas, Good Charlotte and The Calling just to name a few, as well as a myriad of some of LAís hottest up and comers.

Solo Musician rates are $10/hr before 6pm weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday.

AMP Rehearsal is located at 5259 Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood, California.
Located north of the 134 and east of the 170 in the San Fernando Valley.
