Rune Factory Frontier Constellation Guide

One of the more mysterious features of Rune Factory Frontier is the constellations and their effects. You may have become aware of their existence by talking to Cinnamon, but she gives little information, purposefully vague. She'll tell you about a constellation of the season you're in, and give a hint about when to view it. What she doesn't tell you is that each constellation has an effect when first found, some of which you activate by talking to the girl associated with it.

When you next talk to Cinnamon after viewing one, she'll give you more of the constellation's history. Talking to her about constellations also increases her love points. She seems to prefer to talk about them outside, but due to the random nature of the topic in conversation, it's hard to say for certain.

Also, after you have viewed Selphy's and gotten her effect, each one you've found to that point can be read about in the Rune Archive, and each new constellation you find will be added there.

While you can see the stars of the constellations in their seasons, you won't actually get the constellation event until Cinnamon tells you about it, which may require fp with her, and with the corresponding girl, to unlock. All constellations are viewed from the observatory, which is a meadow up the mountain road. Press 1 to look up. If you don't see the constellation in a few minutes (after the appointed time), you may need to shift position and look up again. It usually doesn't take terribly long.
