Belmar Park, Lakewood

This area is between Mississippi and Alameda, and Wadsworth and Kipling. It is located near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It is a beautiful area to live in. According to Beth Ellerman and Britten Chase of 5280 Magazine, this is "one of Lakewood's most popular neighborhoods...This area has become a magnet for families looking for good schools (Jefferson County District), safe neighborhoods, and a high-quality environment in which to raise children"(109).

Cherry Hills Village

Cherry Hills Village is "luxury living in the countryside", according to Beth Ellerman and Britten Chase of 5280. Cherry Hills Village is "an area where you can get a posh 3,000- to 4,000- square-foot-single-family luxury home on or near a gold course and entry into one of Denver's most exclusive, upscale neighborhoods...ideal forhorses and bicycles...this is one Denver neighborhood where you get what you pay for" (109). This area is one of the most affluent places in Colorado and is reported to be the "birth place" of the well known tea drink, the Arnold Palmer.

City Park

Another Up and Coming Denver neighborhood is City Park. According to the same article, City Park,"is home to an eclectic mix of old and remodled houses...on the grounds are the Denver Zoo, the Colorado Museum of Nature and Science, the City Park Gold COurse and numerous gardens and open outdoor areas that are perfect for picnics" (110). City Park is a very HOT area and a great place to buy!

Cole

Cole is nestled in between E 40th Ave and MLK Blvd and Blake St, Downing St and York St. It is a north Denver neighborhood and features "classic single-family Victorian homes that just need a little bit of love. The area became a part of Denver in 1874, making it one of the city's oldest neighborhoods, and more than half the housesin the area predate the 1900's"(110), so if you are looking for a home with some history, Cole is the place to look!

Globeville is a great area in Denver to find Townhomes. Lincoln Park
