Rachel J Photography - Award Winning Photographer in Edmonton

Award winning photographer, Rachel Johnson resides in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Photography is a passion that is fueled by her love of art & design. Rachel loves to capture the beauty and the essence of each subject she photographs, whether it is a mountainous landscape or shimmering bride. She also creates paintings of people and places she photographs.

Recently at the 2007 PPOC National Print Competition, Rachel successfully had 3 prints accepted into the salon. In October 2006 Rachel won the Best in Class Trophy in the Fine Art category through the Professional Photographers of Canada Alberta. In May of 2006, Rachel was awarded an Excellence for a Fine Art print at the National Convention of the Professional Photographers of Canada Association. In 2005 Rachel was awarded Nikon Canada's Digital Capture of Excellence Award. She is an active member of the Professional Photographers of Canada Alberta and the Professional Photographers of Canada. She is also a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.

Currently she is employed casually at Capital Health working as a medical photographer at the University of Alberta Hospital. In Rachel's spare time she enjoys biking, traveling, martial arts, knitting & playing with her dog, Buddy.
