Everything You Want To Know About Randy Dickson
Here is a page so people can see just who in this world I am, and what I am about. Not that I am better than anyone else, but even though there are other people out there with the same name, there is only one of me - thank God for that!
An introduction to me
I was born and raised in eastern Ohio. I was a troubled teen and did a lot of things that I am not proud of. I attended Kent State University for one year and studied electronic engineering. I had some trouble getting money together to continue college so I joined the army. I was in the infantry for four years-spending 18 months in Germany and the remainder at Ft. Polk, LA.
My life really changed one night in Germany November of 82. I was deeply depressed and was contemplating suicide. I reallized that if I did that, I would end up in Hell and I did not want to go to Hell. I wanted it all to end, so I gave myself to the Lord Jesus Christ. He has made my life worth living. Jesus is the most important person in my life and second to Him is my wonderful wife Sandy.
While in the military, I realized God was calling me into the ministry. After my tour of duty, I went to Seminary in St. Louis MO. It was also at seminary that I married Sandy. Sandy and I both graduated from seminary in 1988. We then moved to central Missouri. We have helped to start a new church and now we are starting a new church now in Mexico, Missouri. If you would like to know more about the church go to www.newtestamentassembly.org . I also work in a local factory because the church is too small to support me in any way. I do look forward to someday being full time in the ministry.
I live a simple life, but I stay very busy in the ministry. I do not have a lot of material things, I drive an old car and live in a mobile home. But I am a very happy person - I have Jesus and my family- Sandy, Josh and Ben, and that is the best that I could ever have. I love them dearly.
My interests are: studying the Bible, meeting new people and sharing my faith with them. I like to fish for any fish that will bite - I also enjoy eating the catch. I love to spend time with my family and fellowship with my christian friends. I have recently started writing a book about how to start a church from ground zero. I am also learning how to play the guitar and the dobro.

Here is photo that is a couple of years old. Notice I as clean shaven here. My wife does not like my facial hair so I will probably shave it for her.
