RapidActionProfits Better Than 7DollarScript, Cheaper Than Butterfly Marketing
If you sell information products on the net, you need a platform to sell from. And there are many to choose from.
There are expensive scripts such as Butterfly Marketing and JVManager (now Fantasos).
And at the other end of the price spectrum, there is Jon Leger's very popular $7 script . It's admirably cheap but it doesnt build mailing lists of your customers, affiliates & partners.
That's why I really like Rapid Action Profits and have set up this lens to let you know more about RAP, for short.

How hard is Rapid Action Profits to install?
Easy. Just 3 clicks.
...as long as you dont make the silly mistake I made. So let me tell you about that.
You need to set up one MySQL database that stores all the data about your customers, your affiliates and your subscribers%u2026 plus your products.
In setting up your MySQL database (which is a standard part of CPanel web hosting and no doubt most hosting platforms), remember to enter your correct database details in the online setup form. I forgot to put the domainid_ before my login username and that stumped me for a bit. Silly me.
RAP will pay affiliates instantly. How does that work?
Yes, RAP is "affiliate management made easy". Here's how payments work.
To prevent affiliate fraud, RAP gives the first sale from any given affiliate to the vendor/merchant (that's you when you install it). This way you don't have people using a 2nd Paypal account to buy from themselves and never promoting the product.
After that first sale to you, the affiliate gets every sale until their sales reach their commission rate.
For example:
If you are paying a 50% commission rate, you the product owner get the first sale, the affiliate gets the 2nd, you get the 3rd, etc.
If you are paying 75%, you get the first, your affiliate gets 100% of the 2nd and 3rd and 4th sales paid to his/her PayPal account as instant commissions. By this time, the affiliate has been paid 75% so the next sale goes to you as the merchant.
And the same holds true for whatever percentage you choose to pay. The software does the calculations each time. All automated.
Can I use Rapid Action Profits to manage affiliate programs on multiple domains that I own?
Yes.
To manage sales on different domains, you have to install it on each domain. You can use a single installation to control multiple products on the same domain.
